The Unvarnished Truth: The True Cost Of Biden’s Border Crisis

Illegal immigration is costing you more than you think!

The Federation for Immigration Reform estimates that illegal immigrants are costing taxpayers $150 billion per year. I strongly believe that number is very low.

According to FAIR there are roughly $66.4 billion in federal expenditures attributable to the aliens and that that number has increased 45 percent since 2017. They estimate that we are spending at the federal level $3,187 for every alien.

The overall $150 billion figure is said to include state expenditures. That’s why I think it is a low-ball figure.

In Massachusetts, it was exposed six years ago that the Commonwealth was expending $2 billion per year on the illegal immigrants. That’s before the Biden influx! Last January, the state passed a supplemental budget of $400 million to house illegals. Right now, the legislature is on the cusp of passing another supplemental budget for $2.8 billion to pay for housing and even legal services for illegals. But wait, there is another supplemental budget on the horizon and it could be over $3 billion! Ouch! That would be more than tripling the costs in one year’s time. Please note that these figures do not include schooling or in-state tuition breaks which increases the overall expenses.

It is safe to say that Massachusetts is spending more than $8 billion per year. If you multiply $8 billion times 50 states, that comes to $400 billion. Now every state doesn’t give illegal aliens housing, EBT cards/welfare, legal services, translators, access to transportation, mental health services, health care, schools, etc. But if we cut the number in half, it is still $250 billion. (RELATED: Massachusetts State Of Emergency? With the nation’s leading credit rating threatening to lower our country’s rating from “stable” to “negative,” it is time for D.C. to put the federal government’s spending on a diet and it starts with shutting the border and sending home the illegal immigrants. Enough is enough!
