Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reiterated his commitment to feminism while expressing frustration over the United States’ recent presidential election results. Speaking to a supportive audience, Trudeau lamented that Americans once again declined to elect a female presidential candidate.
“We were supposed to be on a march toward progress,” Trudeau said. “And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president.”

The embattled prime minister also addressed broader concerns about women’s rights, suggesting they are increasingly under threat. “Women’s rights and women’s progress is under attack—overtly and subtly,” he remarked. “I want you to know that I am, and always will be, a proud feminist. You will always have an ally in me, and in my government.”
Trudeau’s pointed remarks come amid ongoing tensions with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, whose quips about Canada becoming the next U.S. state have reportedly struck a nerve in Ottawa. Trump first floated the idea during a hastily arranged meeting with Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago, joking that if tariffs for failing to address trade and immigration issues would “kill” Canada’s economy, perhaps it should become the 51st state.
The meeting followed Trump’s threat of a 25% tariff on all Canadian imports unless Ottawa took stronger measures to address the flow of illegal drugs and migrants across the border.
In response, Canadian Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc told CBC News that the government has taken steps to enhance border security.

Tell Trudeau he’s got enough things to worry about than to try to interject his opinions upon the voting public in the United States. If Kamala had been qualified to rule as President of OUR great country, I would have had no problems voting for her. What Trudeau fails to understand is that we cannot afford to elect a President based on sex or race. We need someone who possesses the skills to perform the duties required. Kamala does not possess those skills.
Personally, I’d like to see a revolt and a recall vote to remove Trudeau from office. He’s a liberal radical who seems to this he can dictate what the people of Canada can and can’t do. I cite the freezing of the bank accounts of the protesting truckers and the current attempt to remove guns from the homes of law abiding Canadians as examples. I only wish the people of Canada would wake up to the realization that they are only one step away from becoming a Marxist state. Then again, I have no plans to ever visit or live in Canada. This is no business of mine, just as our elections are of no business of his.

First, we don’t vote on someone because of their skin color or their gender. According to what we have been taught, by people like Martin Luther King, is those things should not be a factor when choosing any person for any job or position. Second, we choose our leaders based upon their job performance in the past and their projected polices in the future. Whether you like it or not there was only one candidate of the two that best fit the second thing we do in voting for our leaders and that was Donald Trump.
