This one is going to create a lot of mixed feelings even among the pro-gun community. Why? This should be a good thing. And it is. But still…

Let’s see…
- Welcome news, but you shouldn’t need an executive order to protect a Constitutional right
- It sure seems like the Second Amendment should be protected by its own eponymous status; what does this say for the future that an EO is considered beneficial? Or is this just an empty gesture intended to keep his base happy?
- This already is (or should be) enshrined by legislation—much of which is already being stomped all over by certain anti-gun states and cities. How is an executive order going to trump (pun intended) something that is supposedly already protected by law?
- What does this mean about the NFA?
- Does this portend action against or at least circumspection against the BATFE?
- How will this affect the so-called red flag laws?

There is no “but still.” Anything signed to protect the Second Amendment is great!
THE IMPOTENT SECOND AMENDMENT!
How interesting!
The Second Amendment that’s supposed to protect Americans’ alleged right to bear arms has to be protected by Trump’s executive order in order to protect Americans’ alleged right to bear arms!?!
I think something’s askew here!
America was sold down the river when the 18th-century founders replaced Biblical responsibilities (based upon the moral law of God) for Enlightenment rights, and nothing demonstrates it better than the Second Amendment.
Think about it: The Amendment WITH the wording “shall not be infringed” is the MOST infringed, licensed, and limited Amendment of the entire twenty seven. Furthermore, a future generation of our posterity is likely to see the Second Amendment whittled away entirely or repealed altogether. This is inherent nature and danger of optional Enlightenment rights versus non-optional Biblical responsibilities, such as the following:
“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword [or today’s equivalent] in their hand … this honor have all his saints. Praise ye Yah.” (Psalm 149:6-9)
“But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house [beginning with spiritual and physical protection], he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8)
Which is more potent: 1) An optional right, or 2) A non-optional responsibility?
Which is more likely to be infringed, licensed, and ultimately abolished altogether?
Which did the pre-Second Amendment Americans look to for their authority to bear arms, with little or nor infringement?

This needs Congress and or senate to pass Constitutional Carry across the whole country where no state or city can stop a legal decent person to carry a gun without licenses, registration it is illegal to demand American Citizenship to have to register or license their guns yes laws to protect crazy people or certain felons and non-citizens from getting guns but American Citizens should not have to answer to the government on Our Constitutional Rights
Thanks, I appreciate your concern.
That’s why he did the EO because states are doing everything they can to circumvent the Constitution. So you answered your own question as to why the EO. What are you, a democrat!!??
