Explosive new details from a forthcoming book reveal President Biden’s team considered placing him in a wheelchair if the senior had ultimately won the 2024 election.
According to the book from CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, information given to the American people about then-President Biden’s physical condition was often at odds with evaluations from his personal physician.
“Biden’s physical deterioration — most apparent in his halting walk — had become so severe that there were internal discussions about putting the president in a wheelchair, but they couldn’t do so until after the election,” Tapper and Thompson wrote.
Biden’s physician suggested that a wheelchair might be necessary – especially if the president were to fall at any point — because his age and condition could prolong recovery.
“Given Biden’s age, [his physician Kevin O’Connor] also privately said that if he had another bad fall, a wheelchair might be necessary for what could be a difficult recovery,” the book reads.
According to the book, O’Connor often felt as though Biden’s aides were not doing enough to make sure that he was taking proper precautions and getting enough rest.
“O’Connor sometimes quipped that Biden’s staff members were trying to kill him, while he was trying to keep him alive,” Axios reported.
Another instance that showed O’Connor and Biden’s team in conflict was the aftermath of a 2020 fall in which Biden fractured his foot. After the president wore a walking boot for more than two months, O’Connor announced that “both small fractures of his foot are completely healed” and that “this injury has healed as expected.”
In 2023, Biden had a basal cell carcinoma—essentially a form of skin cancer—removed from his chest. While common and usually treatable, it added to a growing list of health-related developments that critics say were either downplayed or slow-walked by the White House.
Biden’s team has responded to early reports from the book, saying, “So far, we are still waiting for someone, anyone, to point out where Joe Biden had to make a presidential decision or make a presidential address where he was unable to do his job because of mental decline. In fact, the evidence points to the opposite — he was a very effective president.”
The incendiary claims come to light at the same time Biden’s most recent medical exam uncovered a “small nodule” on his prostate, prompting additional evaluation. (RELATED: Biden Medical Exam Results Prompt Renewed Health Concerns)
“In a routine physical exam a small nodule was found in the prostate which necessitated further evaluation,” a Biden spokesperson told The Hill’s sister network NewsNation. The spokesperson did not elaborate further.

In my opinion, Joe Biden was NOT an effective President of the United States. His mental capabilities, loss of control both mentally and physically proved he was just an aged man in decline from the 2020 election on. Even before that election it can be detected is team kept him isolated to prevent detection of his decline. His choice of VP was an insurance policy against impeachment as NOBODY wanted her in control. His lack of following the Constitutional duties of a POTUS was glaring and has cost this nation billions of dollars. Under his administration the Democratic Party went on a greed hunt to get rich quick on fraud, kickbacks, and programs that enrichened them. Just look at how their wealth swelled in those 4 years of lawlessness. We all agree that his administration weaponized many parts of the Federal Goverment to include: DOJ, FBI, FAA, DOT, DOE, and much more. His handing of the COVID plauge was representable with Dr. Megnla Fartzie in charge. That was a quick get rich program for a few.
Even earlier in his career he was working against the citizens. HE was the first to promote taxing the Social Security people would draw, remember that is money that people had already been taxes on when they hearned it and had no choice when it was removed from their paychecks. Of course LBJ moved a very solvent Social Security fund that was making money, and moved it to the General Fund so that Congress could use it to pay off the Viet Nam war. Guess who owned most of the munitions used in VN, and who owned hald of bell Helicopter…….oh that would be the Johnson’s of Texas.
Politicians are greedy, cheating, lying, and thieves who only thing of one thing, how much is in it for them. After serving in our Government as a Senator for decades he became Obama’s VP, why? Even Obama said he had the ability to screw up a foot ball. Now you might understand why Obama was the first POTUS to NOT leave Washington DC at the end of his term, like very POTUS before him back to George Washington. He was actually still running our goverment in to the ground as he did before. Now that Trump is in charge maybe, if he was smart enough, he will now sell out and leave Washington DC. Back to Biden, he now holds the record for the number of days not in the White House while in the POTUS position. Kind of tells you something, that even his team didn’t want him around to screw up their actions. Just who was operating the “Auto-Pen”, who determined when and what it would be used for as Biden was way beyond the point of having any idea what was going on. Both DOJ and FBI should be investigating that to determine if laws were broken.
