During a conversation with Politico's Ryan Lizza, prominent Republican consultant and pollster Kellyanne Conway stated that she knows “a few people” who believe an embryo is a human life but that she doesn't “know many.”
Lizza asked Conway how she would advise potential clients on talking about the issue of human life, especially in light of the recent Alabama ruling on IVF, which has divided the Republican Party and the pro-life movement.
Conway was one of Donald Trump's 2016 campaign managers and then was a prominent figure in the Trump White House when she served as White House Counselor from 2017 to 2020.
Since leaving the White House, Conway has returned to consulting conservative non-profits, political groups, and candidates.
