Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appears to be on the verge of a double-digit victory. According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, DeSantis leads Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist by 10 points.
A new Telemundo/LX News survey shows DeSantis leading Crist 51% to 44% among Florida's growing Hispanic community. In 2018, DeSantis lost the Hispanic vote by some 10 points. Four years later, he may win Miami-Dade County.
The stark reality for Charlie Crist is that last night's debate was the last chance to save his floundering campaign. Attempting to catch DeSantis off balance, Crist broke the debate rules when he took over the moderator's job and asked the governor a loaded question about a possible White House run in 2024.
However, DeSantis countered his jab with a savage reply:

Totally correct. Crist was a Republican who switched to Independent when conservatives got wise to him a realized he was really a smarmy RINO. Then when it became apparent that he was getting no where as an independent, he switched to DemonicRat and started advocating for laws and policies that were dimetrically opposed to what he claimed to have believed just a few years ealier when he was a member of the Republican party. Crist has no principles or moral fortitude and will just sway whatever way he thinks he needs to in order to get power and money. If Crist had been Governor for the past 4 years, I would not have a job now. He can go fornicate himself. DeSantis is Awesome!!!
