Politico has obtained a Supreme Court draft opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito. The document suggests the Court will rule in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade this summer.
The circulating document was breached in an unprecedented attack on the justice system. In the draft decision of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization the court sides with the State of Mississippi. The document reads:
Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. … We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.
Justice Alito’s draft is labeled as an “Opinion of the Court.” This is the first time a draft has been leaked while the case is still in progress. As Politico reported, “No draft decision in the modern history of the court has been disclosed publicly while a case was still pending.”
The SCOTUS leak is an actual insurrection. An attempt to completely upend and delegitimize the rule of law, incite violence and chaos, and potentially plunge the nation into civil war. January 6th was a stroll in the park compared to this. It's not even close.

Commentators suggest the breach is intended to pressure the justices to change their decision before the official vote during the Dobbs case.
Pro-life advocate Lila Rose tweeted:
Unprecedented leak of a draft SCOTUS decision.

Over-ruling Roe would be bare minimum for an intellectually honest and constitutionally-guided Supreme Court.

The leaked draft opinion does not solidify the final vote regarding Dobbs, which is set to be decided in June.
