Biden Unveils Plan To Counter ‘Islamophobia’ As Anti-Jewish Hate Spikes

-

ANALYSIS and the Democrats are quickly caving to their far-left base. It has only been three weeks since the horrific and savage terror attacks against , and Team Biden is running for the exits on its initially staunchly pro-Israel response. It is obvious that comments by Muslim Americans (who vote 80% Democrat) to not vote for them are scaring the bejeezus out of the Democrats.

This is especially concerning as their vote could determine which way Michigan, a key Electoral College state, goes in next year's election.

And as many have noted, they couldn't be more blatant or tone-deaf with their rapid backpedaling.

On policy, Biden just started pressuring Israel to ‘pause' its combat operations in , just as Israeli forces are clearing out the rats scurrying among the three hundred miles of underground tunnels. (RELATED: Israel's Battle In Gaza City – Flood The Hamas Terror Tunnels)

More on that idiocy in a later piece.

Then there is this well-timed beauty.

The day after the arrest of a 21-year-old self-identified “Hamas fighter,” who publicly threatened to kill and rape Jews at Cornell University in New York City, Biden launched a first-ever ‘Strategy to Counter .'

Yes, you hear that correctly. Even as Director Christopher Wray told senators on Tuesday that  is reaching “historic levels” in America following the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, Biden launches a plan to protect extremist Muslims and their sympathizers who are increasingly threatening their Jewish neighbors. This even though, so far, only far-left pro-Hamas radicals are holding angry rallies in major cities and spewing hate, at times in heavily Jewish neighborhoods. And the only response by Jewish groups has been to condemn this blatant support for anti-Jewish .

“For years, Muslims in America and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate fueled attacks,” Vice President Kamala Harris said in a video posted on X.

“As a result of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we have seen an uptick in anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, antisemitic and Islamophobic incidents across America,” she added.

Seriously?

Except for the shameful and heart-breaking murder of a young Palestinian American boy in Chicago last month by his deranged landlord – a truly horrible hate – most of the hate crimes in America are still against our Jewish brothers and sisters. And critics were quick to respond to Biden's insulting new focus. As the New York Post reported, Canadian professor Gad Saad, who was born into a Jewish family in Lebanon, referenced the statistics Wray presented to senators and wrote on X:

According to the [FBI] director, Jews make up 2.4% of the US population but are the targets of 60% of hate crimes. This is why it is apparently important to fight Islamophobia according to the White House.

Then there was the X post by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who has called for the deportation of foreigners expressing support for Hamas. He stated: “After the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and a breakout of pro-Hamas activism on campus, the White House is claiming *Islamophobia* is our top concern.”

The Post added a quote from an X post by Blake Beye, a member of the Hillsboro, Kansas, City Council, responding to the Harris video:

This is one of the most tone deaf posts I've ever seen on this platform. The amount of hatred I've seen towards the Jewish community and the nation of Israel over the last month makes me sick to my stomach and breaks my heart. Read the room, sweetheart.

Democrats will counter by noting that the White House released a 60-page strategy to counter antisemitism in the U.S. back in May.

However, as The Post reported, that plan “was criticized by some Jewish and anti-hate groups who argued that the picked a diluted definition of the term ‘antisemitism'” that doesn't say it's antisemitic to oppose Israel's creation or hold the Jewish state to different standards than other countries.”

In another tweet, mentioned by The Post, conservative radio talk show host Tammy Bruce emphasized the biggest problem with the Team Biden announcement was the timing:

Timing is everything and is itself a statement. This [islamophobia announcement] as Jews are being threatened, hunted, and attacked worldwide. Tells you everything you need to know about the moral depravity and corruption of the Democratic Party and especially of the people in the White House.

Meanwhile, on a positive note, conservative writer Mark Hemingway posted on X: “Aside from the fact this is a slap in the face to American Jews who are the actual victims of hate crimes, the good news for Republicans is that Michigan must be in play.”
