A senior administration official has clarified a late weekend bombshell.
After President Biden let a Chinese spy balloon glide across the United States, allegations emerged that one or more spy balloons violated U.S. airspace during the Trump administration.
But the discovery didn’t occur until Biden took office. The explanation follows denials from the former president and his national security team that such events ever happened or that they were briefed.
As Fox News reports:
But on Sunday, a senior administration official told Fox News Digital that “U.S. intelligence, not the Biden administration” assesses that “PRC (People’s Republic of China) government surveillance balloons transited the continental U.S. briefly at least three times during the prior administration and once that we know of at the beginning of this administration, but never for this duration of time.”
The official told Fox News that “this information was discovered after the [Trump] administration left.”
“They went undetected,” the official told Fox News Digital.
The official explained that Chinese surveillance balloons are “part of a larger pattern.”
They added that the PRC has a fleet of balloons to conduct surveillance “at the direction of the People’s Liberation Army,” noting that similar balloons have been spotted across five continents in recent years.
“Two things can be true at once: this happened, and it wasn’t detected,” they concluded.
According to the report, at least one balloon flew over Texas and Florida during the Trump administration. Another crashed in Hawaii four months ago.

Well the Chinese learned one important lesson. They can fly over America with any biological weapon or dirty weapon or even tactical Nukes and fly where even they please BUT DON’T try to leave.
Yes after they have already collected the information they want. China had control of the balloon . The whole time. A balloon does not dip down at a strategic location So if you control it then you can get the information at the same time. They do not have a mind of their own.
Notice the report says: “a senior administration official”. Whenever an admiration official is UNNAMED, I immediately assume it is a lie. If the official remans unnamed, how can anyone prove him wrong.
So what was “undetected” 3 to 6 years ago when this allegedly happened is now detected! What morons!

I am sorry but this does not make any sense…how can undetected spy balloons during Trump all of a sudden become detected. Undetected means no on saw them back during 2017-2020 and by some wild miracle, they now in 2023 have detected something that happened in the past. Something does not add up here. He went on to say “Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States that people could look up and see even with the naked eye, and that a media that hated Donald Trump wasn’t reporting? I don’t remember that either, because it didn’t happen.”
How stupid does the Deep State and Biden Administration think we are? They must believe that the public is as stupid as they are. Note they state, ” there were 3 flyovers US territory that were not detected”. What BS when they say it happened before, but it was undetected. This is nothing but blatant lies.
