The Venezuelan migrant gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) has reportedly seized control of at least four apartment complexes in San Antonio, Texas, marking a significant expansion of their criminal operations in the area.
Authorities have been tracking the gang’s activities in San Antonio for several months. Last week, local police raided one apartment complex, leading to the arrest of several gang members. However, a recent report from the Daily Mail on Oct. 16 indicated that the gang has now taken control of three additional complexes.
The gang, known for its involvement in drug trafficking, child prostitution and extortion, has allegedly been collecting rent from illegal immigrants residing in these complexes:
The tattooed mobsters have since unleashed a wave of crime across the country from Miami and Texas to Denver and New York.
The gang’s activities in the American cities are back in the spotlight after ABC News’ Martha Raddatz claimed the instances of gang members’ presence in apartments was limited to a ‘handful’ of complexes in Aurora, Colorado.
Law enforcement sources confirmed TdA had been operating at the Palatia Apartments for five to six months – squatting in empty units they either rented out to other migrants, used as a base to deal cocaine or, most horrifically, as prostitution dens to pimp out women and children.
But now DailyMail.com can reveal that this apartment invasion is just the tip of the iceberg in the major southern Texas city, with at least three other rental properties also occupied by the criminal organization.
This development comes amid growing concerns over migrant-related crime in the United States. Previously, some media outlets downplayed the gang’s presence in other regions, choosing instead to focus on Donald Trump’s rhetoric.
The Biden-Harris administration has previously argued that “Texas cannot run its own immigration system.”

I live in Mexico. People do not realize that in Mexico, the cartels just cut off adversaries heads. Just happened recently to a newly elected Mayor. Over 100 candidates running for office this last election were murdered before the election. They hang them from bridges, chop them up and put them in coolers and leave them on the beach, some really gruesome stuff.

I think that these gangs are real and that law enforcement should be allowed to prosecute them to the fullest extent. If they don’t then the citizens will take the law into there own hands to protect there family, if they were to try and break into my house I would most likely blow them back out with my shotgun. It’s time we drained the swamp and get rid of the communist in office and took back this country and made it GREAT again. You bet they should be able to, as should any other state at it’s discretion. If the federal government continues to not enforce immigration law, and the cost of unlawful immigration is leading states towards bankruptcy, then state and local law enforcement must act on their own. We have not seen anything yet from the millions of illegals in the country – this is just the beginning.
We need to engage the National Guard in each state to enforce deportations of these animals. If they resist, use live ammo until they are either wiped out, or give up to be deported. Life in prison if any one of them comes back. Open season by armed U.S. citizens is a result we need to try to avoid.
