Evacuation Orders Given To Entire Capital City As Wildfires Approach

Citizens of and the surrounding area have received orders to evacuate as wildfires encroach on the capital city.

Multiple conflagrations fueled by drought conditions and warmer-than-average temperatures now threaten the lives and livelihoods of 26,000 Canadians, roughly 60% of the Northwest Territories' population.
