Recent events are highlighting the decreasing relevance of wayward “conservatives” Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and even someone I still like, Megyn Kelly. Their coalescing around increasingly bizarre and extreme views, like antisemitism, have rightfully made them outcasts within the Republican Party and much of the MAGA movement.
President Trump has already essentially expelled Carlson from MAGA.
But the three’s hysterical rants against Trump and his just war against the Iranian terror regime, partly based on antisemitism, “the Jews are behind it,” should be the last straw. It is time for all true conservatives to denounce all three and let them shrivel into their extremist niche.
And a recent poll, noted by the New York Post, shows this is the time.
Despite exaggerated reports of Republican fractures over President Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran, a J.L. Partners survey showed that even on the topic of war against Iran, 83% of likely Republican voters “strongly” or “somewhat” support Operation Epic Fury, while just 9% say they “strongly” or “somewhat” oppose military action against Iran.
Nearly three-quarters (74%) of respondents say the U.S. should continue its military campaign until Iran’s military capabilities are destroyed, with only 16% saying Trump should stop the war immediately.
As the Post reported:
Compared to prominent podcasters Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, both of whom have criticized the president over the Iran war, the poll found 83% of likely Republican voters trust Trump’s judgement, while just 6% place more confidence in the former Fox News hosts.
Even more respondents (84%) agree with Trump’s foreign policy views over Carlson and Kelly (6%), while 85% say they take the president more seriously on world affairs than media commentators and podcasters (6% again).
Trump has indirectly responded to these wayward faux MAGA former supporters by praising syndicated talk radio host Mark Levin, a staunch backer of the Iran war who traded personal attacks with Kelly in recent days.
On Truth Social, he posted March 15:
Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect… Mark is … a true Conservative, and … far smarter than those who criticize him… When you hear others unfairly attack Mark, remember… [their] “sway” is much less than the Public understands, and will, now that they know where I stand, rapidly diminish… Those that speak ill of Mark will quickly fall by the wayside, as do the people whose ideas, policies, and footings are not sound. THEY ARE NOT MAGA, I AM.
Other polls show MAGA Republicans are even more supportive of the president overall and that his supposed conservative critics are a fringe minority. As the Post reported, “CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten dismissed the narrative of a MAGA split Wednesday with polls showing President Trump is enjoying 100% support from his Republican base.”
The Post added:
“Sometimes you look at the polling data and there are numbers that just jump off the screen at you – and this is one of those,” Enten said, as he highlighted an NBC News survey showing Trump’s 100% approval rating among Republicans who identify as “MAGA.”
The poll showing Trump’s perfect level of support also found that 30% of Americans currently identify MAGA, up from 28% in November 2024.
“The theme of this segment is ‘Tucker Carlson Be Darned,’” Enten said, referring to the conservative commentator who has been outspoken in his opposition to the Iran war – so much so that Trump recently declared, “He’s not MAGA.”
“Tucker has lost his way,” the commander-in-chief said earlier in March. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”
Trump has already made his views crystal clear on Tucker, Owens, Kelly and their ilk. He is MAGA, they are not. And he is done with them. Remaining MAGA conservatives who haven’t already done so, or are wavering, should close ranks with Trump and the rest of us, and dump Tucker, Owens, and Kelly.

Carlson has definitely changed since he was at Fox. He must be ignoring the nuclear threat from Iran.
This is not surprising. Trump is not perfect. However, these are commentators doing what they are supposed to do, question, opine and increase their audiences to support their earnings. Trumps objectives are much, much different. I have faith in God and I believe He has the ultimate plan. I think this is an operation much more wide spread and much more deep than many know. I support the plan, because it’s God’s plan. And, I support Trump and ALL of God’s missionaries regarding His plan. There is no doubt, no fear and no question. God’s timing is perfect and this will play out according to His WILL.
They are all traitorous pos’s, especially Kelly!
