NEW LENOX, Ill. — Police are investigating a bomb threat reported at the suburban Illinois home of Pope Leo XIV’s older brother, John Prevost, prompting evacuations and a significant law enforcement response.
Prevost, a retired Catholic school administrator, has largely remained out of the public spotlight, maintaining a notably low profile.
Officers were dispatched to the residence in New Lenox around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a possible explosive device.
Authorities quickly established a security perimeter and asked nearby residents to evacuate out of an abundance of caution while specialized units conducted a search of the property.

After a thorough investigation, including the use of bomb-sniffing K-9 units, officials determined the threat was unsubstantiated, with no explosives or hazardous materials found at the scene.
Residents were later allowed to return to their homes.
Police said the incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the source of the threat.
Officials emphasized that making false bomb threats is a serious offense that can lead to severe criminal and financial penalties under both state and federal law.

He may have been born in the U.S., but he lived in South American … and he’s a socialist ( which is very close to being a communist ).
