ANALYSIS – On the good news front, it is becoming increasingly clear that the vast majority of Americans strongly oppose the outrageous transgender agenda being imposed on our children by the left.
Many rightfully liken the trans push on kids to child abuse.
This provides stark confirmation that the Democrat-led trans insanity is causing a severe backlash and that states like Florida are right to be shutting it down in schools.
So why aren’t conservatives fighting harder on this critical issue?
A recent poll by Scott Rasmussen conducted for America’s New Majority Project noted:
Americans have broad and intense opposition to elements of transgender ideology being a part of children’s school curriculum and experience and strongly support parental rights in education.
72% oppose schools teaching children they can change their gender (10% support, 18% not sure);
80% believe parents should be given advance notice of any such instruction and given the option to opt their children out (11% oppose, 9% not sure);
The survey focused on transgender (or the demonic “gender-affirming” term) medical treatments for minors and parental rights in regard to children receiving them, or information about them. (RELATED: Pelosi’s Archbishop Bans Her From Receiving Holy Sacrament)
As Hot Air notes:
Not only were large majorities strongly opposed to most of these procedures, but most felt that these “treatments” amounted to child abuse.
The procedures and practices in question involved everything from mastectomies and genital mutilation to the administration of puberty blockers and changes in names and pronouns.
And unlike the policies being pushed by the nation’s teachers’ unions and activists in the medical community, almost nobody believes that parents should be shut out of such decisions as they are applied to their children.
Hot Air continues:
The indoctrination of children in the nation’s public schools, where “classes” inform kids that changing their gender is an option, is opposed by more than 70% of adults. Ony ten percent support such programs. Fully 80% feel that parents and guardians should always be informed in advance of any such school program and be given the right to opt their children out of it.
Almost three-quarters (73%) say that schools have a duty to promptly inform parents if their children are attempting to identify as being transgender. And if the school is encouraging children to “change their gender,” a strong majority (60%) believe that constitutes child abuse.
This is why the measures being taken in Florida against this agenda are not only morally correct, and common sense, but also supported by the vast majority of Americans. (RELATED: Flashback: DeSantis Rejects Biden’s State of the Union Request)
As National Review explains:
The Florida Board of Medicine and state Board of Osteopathic Medicine have approved a plan to ban puberty blockers and sex-reassignment surgery as treatments for transgender minors in the state.
NR adds:
Florida’s decision comes in the wake of the United Kingdom closing its sole gender dysphoria clinic, the Tavistock Centre. following an internal investigation found that the clinic pursued an “unquestioning affirmative approach” and pressured staff embrace a blind acceptance of such treatments.
And so, similar to the abortion debate, the question is why aren’t mainstream conservatives not taking this fight straight to the Dems?
As Hot Air notes:
The real question is why more conservative candidates haven’t been out there on the stump demanding these sorts of reforms and demanding that their Democratic opponents take a stand on the question.
The House already passed “the Equality Act” which would give “gender identity” the same protected status as race, religion, sexual orientation, and other demographic categories. It would also mandate that schools enforce gender-bending rules, including allowing male athletes to compete against girls and use their locker rooms and showers. The Senate is scheduled to take this bill up soon. Every member of Congress from both parties should be put on the record as to where they stand on this question. And the ones who support it should look over the numbers in this poll and begin planning a new career outside of government service.

The turning point for the Republican party is this radical position of transgender/drag queen parades involving children by the Democrats and they have not let up which is one issue that the Republicans will face should they take control of the US House/Senate . I think there is a lot of house cleaning left to do in the Republican camp as well. There seems to be an endless supply of 9 or 10 Republicans (besides the “always there”, Romney, Murkowski, and Collins) to side with the left on issues of importance to the right, like gun control this summer. Anyone who believes they have a Constitutional right to murder babies or mutilate them when they get older is depraved and wrong but Mitch will recruit enough “conservative” Republicans to make some kind of deal. Although I have yet to see the benefit of siding with these morons who do not have the country’s best interest at heart. Does Mitch? Maybe not. The thing I guess people should remember is that these guys are supposed to be representing YOU, not Mitch, not the RNC, YOU. They are YOUR representatives, not the RNC’s or Mitch’s, for sure not Nancy Pelosi’s or the Emperor Biden’s. The people of Wyoming were absolutely correct in replacing their wayward “representative”. She was not THEIR’s. She let her animosity for Trump get the better of her and now she will have to worm her way back into politics again. Time to take out the trash, all over the place.

Gender is determined by chromosomes. Male is XY, female is XX. Anything else is mental illness.
This is child abuse and anyone doing it or condoning it is a child abuser. Parents should be locked up doing surgery or hormones on their kids. This is a mental disorder that they are participating in. All need to go to therapy. Nothing should be done to a child until they are over the age to one ok it and two pay for it. We are doing this for the 150000 children ages 13-17 in the US. Why so much hoop lah for 150k kids? This is taking over our country for 150k people. You are pushing this for just a small minority and in the future they will not feel this way. I don’t think other children should have this shoved down their throats for such a minority of people.
What scares me is that it seems like a rare combination of inflation, out of control crime, and blatant indoctrination of our children, that is the only thing that may swing the mid-terms Republican. It seems that only accidentally, because of COVID and “zoom” learning, did parents discover the CRT and sexual identity indoctrination that is widespread across the country and has been going on for years. Just like they are feeling the effects of massive crime surges brought about by the Soros backed prosecutors that they elected. Or seeing the effects of the BLM promoted riots and “defund the police’ and “no bail” policies after they opened their wallets for and sent 90 million dollars to the race baiting grifters who founded BLM. Information that was openly available if they had just bothered to “Google” BLM and see that the founders were anti-white, anti-family, anti-Christian, and openly Marxist. Just like they are discovering the massive inflation imposed by the feckless Joe Biden who said when he was running that he was going to “destroy fossil fuel in America” but they didn’t pay attention. Then there’s the collusion of all the Democrats and the mainstream and social media to launch a failed “Special Prosecutor” investigation and twice impeach a duly elected President and then, failing three times, they again conspired to throw the 2020 election. Or that Biden has weaponized the entire power of the government (the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the IRS and even the DOD) against his political opposition.
So what should be a “extinction level” event for the Democratic Party leaves dozens of “too close to call” contests, a pretty clear victory for the Republicans in the House and a “possible” victory in the Senate. What scares me is that it’s taken a near total destruction of our country to bring about what may not be an overwhelming mandate. That doesn’t bode well for the long term, especially since it will take years to undo the damage that Brandon and the Democrats have done.
Scripture is very clear: ‘Do not honor men.’ If I’m not to honor a man, I sure ain’t gonna honor no TRANSwoman.
