While Democrat Party leaders have long been open leftists, the party itself thrived on the fact Democrat voters themselves were largely moderates.
A new Gallup poll finds that is no longer the case, and the Democrat Party is now a fully leftist organ driven by its white base.
Gallup’s latest poll of national political identification finds a record high 54 percent of Democrats now identify as “liberal,” a term once viewed even by many Democrats with derision.
Only 36 percent of Democrats identify as “moderate” and just 10 percent as “conservative.”
That’s an almost complete flip of what Gallup found in 1994 when it first began measuring partisan political views.
In 1994 only 25 percent of Democrats identified themselves as “liberal,” with 25 percent describing themselves as “conservative” and nearly half, 48 percent, calling themselves “moderate.”
Gallup finds the massive explosion in leftist views is driven by whites.
“More than six in 10 White Democrats identified as liberal in 2022, representing a 37-percentage-point increase since 1994,” Gallup reports.
“That contrasts with closer to four in 10 Black and Hispanic Democrats identifying as liberal last year, up less than 20 points from 1994,” Gallup found.
The findings show a Democrat Party wildly out of step with Americans at large.
Among all voters, only 26 percent identify as liberal, a nine-percent increase from 1992 driven entirely by Democrats.
Thirty-five (35) percent of Americans identify as “moderate,” down from (43) percent in 1994.
“Conservative” remains the most popular political identity at 36 percent, the same share as in 1992.

The truth can be dismaying. I’m not surprised, though, as Democrats now appear to be deranged and unable to deal with reality.
Unfortunately those 36% moderate democrats continue to live in denial their party they once knew is gone and now ONLY represents communism, socialism, and marxism; everything our country DOES NOT represent and the very thing destroying the very being of this country because corruption was allowed to put this deztructive administration in place.
Better get it together democrat moderates and realize you have more in common with Republicans now than the radical left, that now call themselves democrats which they aren’t. Oh, I’m so shocked, glad to see you on top of this revelation. IMO
This racist thing has gotten completely out of hand. ANYONE qualified for a particular job is more qualified than the next guy he or she should get the job. Skin color should have nothing to do with it. No matter what color one is, he/she should start at the bottom and work their way up. I’ve worked with black men who were willing to show up on time, do good work and try to improve themselves, and I’ve helped them since I had more experience at that particular job. I’ve worked with some who weren’t the time of day. Exactly the same as SOME white people I’ve had to put up with. Equality? YES! Give someone the key to the city because of his or her skin color ABSOLUTELY NO! However, I must add that I lived in the real world and had to work very hard at a difficult and sometimes dangerous occupation. There were very few black people, none as I recall, who had the guts to do what we did. I helped any who did because he might just save my ass someday. Some might not agree with me but they have their right to do so.
All of them including those you think are your friendly neighbors because they allow the national people to get away with the crap and don’t call them on it.
