Carjacker Can’t Drive Stick, Ditches Stolen Car And Gets Shot By The Victim

SAN ANTONIO, TX – If you are going to steal cars, then you may want to learn how to drive a manual transmission. The suspect in this incident didn’t, and he wound up getting himself shot.

A carjacker got into a vehicle in an attempt to steal it around 2:45 AM last Thursday. He didn’t get far when he realized it was a manual transmission and didn’t know how to drive a stick shift. He ditched the car and got into a getaway car that his accomplice was driving.

But the owner of the car they attempted to steal drew a gun and started firing at them. The suspect in the passenger seat was grazed by a bullet that went through the headrest. Both suspects fled the scene. The police caught up with the wounded suspect at the hospital.

It sounds like the victim in this incident drew his gun and fired on fleeing suspects. There were no reports stating that the suspect was armed. Discharging a firearm in such a scenario can lead to serious legal repercussions, and the victim might find himself fortunate if the prosecutor opts not to pursue charges against him.

  1. Yeah, it’s the stupid age we are living in. The left have done everything possible to protect criminals and put the victims in jail. The leftist inspired ‘revolving-door (in)justice; system has resulted in putting tens of thousands of innocent men, women, children, and law enforcement personnel in early graves all over this nation. Talk about blood on their hands.

    • Agreed tht the system is not applying justice impartially. But legally armed persons need to know when to take the Win. Each bullet as at least two lawyers attached. Don’t loose the lawyers.

  2. The lesson here is don’t get caught. Don’t call the police if there is any way to avoid it. They are not the good guys and they are not on your side. Our entire system of justice is corrupt.

  3. The man stole the victim’s car. The victim should have the right to protect his property and his person. Put the blame on the criminal.

  4. Anyone who protects the real criminals, the thieves, be they a lawyer or anyone, is just as complicit as the thief/thieves. -Simple-because they back them in trying to defend them, and help promote these type of actions to other like minded useless individuals. YES, the thieves WERE ARMED! They had a very large killing machine in their hands, and if they’d known how to drive it, would have willingly mowed down any man, woman, or child to try and get away. The real victim, the owner, has every right to protect their own property from these scum. I’d bet the victim, the owner, did not go along with whatever rules they have written that say otherwise, nor did I or many thousands of others of us. Whomever says one cannot do whatever it takes to protect their own property from these scum, is yes, I’ll say it….scum as well. Why? Because they encourage and promote by their very actions, all the criminal activities that take place today.

  5. Yes, the suspects were armed. They were in and were driving a very large weapon. They would not have cared who thy mowed down and murdered, be it man, woman or child, to try and get away, had it come to a chase. They were armed. With a very dangerous driving machine. The victim had every right to protect their own property, and he did that. And if they keep these hoodlum thieves behind bars long enough, they probably will be saving several lives. Oh, excuse me, they think the real criminals are just poor little victims today, – do not idiots think that? No, I don’t need an excuse or give excuse to anyone who goes along in favor of the real criminals- the thieves. Those who back them, are just as complicit, or should be, and promote criminals…. lawyers or not.
