Democrats in the state of Colorado are renewing their attempt to ban some of America’s most commonly owned firearms.

Two members of Colorado’s House of Representatives – Reps. Bosenecker and Epps, as well as State Senator Fields, are the original co-sponsors of new legislation that aims to classify the possession of an “assault weapon” as a class 2 misdemeanor, which would then be escalated to a class 6 felony if the weapon is used to commit a crime.

Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown called the proposed legislation “unconstitutional & dangerous” as well as “anti-woman” as semi-auto pistols are the “#1 choice of women for a self-defense gun.”

The Colorado legislature convened for its first day of business on Monday, marking the start of this year’s legislative session. There are several other states considering such a ban, and Joe Biden has pushed for a ban nationally. The federal assault weapons ban which was enacted between 1994 and 2004 had no measurable impact on crimes, per statistics previously reported by the Department of Justice in a 2004 study.

Illinois needs to do the same as Colorado did another election coming soon

Better stock up on ammunition, if you already haven’t. This bite is only the tip of the iceberg, as the saying goes. You may wish to purchase it elsewhere, too. This isn’t going to be a pretty disagreement; when their unconstitutional laws fail, they will just go for an armed attempt to confiscate. That’s really what the proposed ban really is; confiscation.

The Democrats have to render all guns illegal & confiscated before they can do the final takedown. Black on black gun killings aren’t relevant. Lawful gun owners who can protect themselves & form militias are the target.

I am certainly glad I moved from Colorado in 1995! It has become another California in politics, mainly because of the huge influx of Californians into Colorado. When I fi9rst moved to the state it was a very nice place to be. I thought I would stay here forever. WRONG! It turned into a hell-hole of leftist BS artists that don’t belong in that state. They should return to California instead of ruining another state as well as California.
