Famous Comedian Parodies AIM’s Harvard Antisemitism Billboards

As the saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Accuracy in Media has been imitated by none other than the renowned comedian and YouTuber Danny Mullen. The Los Angeles-based content creator, with nearly 900,000 YouTube subscribers, recently fashioned a mock billboard that parodied every detail of AIM’s campus antisemitism mobile billboards.

Mullen took to the streets of Cambridge to name and shame an openly antisemitic fake Harvard employee. Mullen’s mobile billboard parody put a humorous spin on the original, calling out noted antisemite “Manny Octopoo” in bright red, bolded font alongside a photo of a taken-aback Octopoo.

The billboard was allegedly created by a fictitious Students For Truth, urging spectators to take action against Octopoo at THISGUYHATESJEWS.NET. He was portrayed as the most deplorable among Harvard’s Leading Antisemites, a title that Mullen chose not to change, imitating AIM’s signature script.

With Mullen’s parody, AIM enters a realm of being satirized by a famous comedian. Mullen commands a tremendous audience, boasting about 152 million total video views on YouTube and almost 250,000 views of his Harvard video at time of publication. 

While Mullen’s video was a parody, AIM recently attended Harvard’s commencement ceremony, handing out satirical commencement programs identifying over 20 of the university’s antisemitic student-leaders, some of whom were graduating seniors. AIM’s now even more famous mobile billboard also made an appearance, showing student names and photos, because, as it said, “accountability doesn’t end on commencement day.”
