Despite Americans' overwhelming efforts to oust liberal DAs from office, Soros is meeting Americans' cries with indifference. Earlier this year, voters successfully recalled San Fransisco DA Chesa Boudin and now George Gascón is in voters' crosshairs. (RELATED: Over 700,000 Signatures Submitted to Recall Soft-on-Crime DA)
However, despite these recall efforts gaining major traction, Soros says he has no intention of slowing his efforts to install his dangerous lackeys.
“I have supported the election (and more recently the re-election) of prosecutors who support reform. I have done it transparently, and I have no intention of stopping,” Soros wrote in an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal.
Despite the irrefutable evidence that crime is up in major cities across the country, Soros rejected accusations that his influence and his hand-picked prosecutors have contributed to the problem. (RELATED: Violent Crime Spike Linked to Defund Police Movement)
“Some politicians and pundits have tried to blame recent spikes in crime on the policies of reform-minded prosecutors. The research I've seen says otherwise,” Soros insisted.

In Manhattan, crime has gone up 43% this year under DA Alvin Bragg leading residents to hope and pray he will be booted from office. Despite the success of the San Fransisco recall effort, unfortunately, New Yorkers cannot expect the same result for Bragg. The Empire State doesn't hold recall elections leaving Bragg's future in the hands of Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Los Angeles residents have already filed a petition to recall George Gascón. According to The Post, overall crime is up 11.9% in L.A.
Looking towards the Midwest, crime has spiked 34% under Chicago DA Kim Foxx. In 2020, Foxx came under fire after a report revealed she had dropped nearly 30% of felony cases in an effort to “fix a broken system in need of repair.” (RELATED: Chicago Police Witnessed Deadly Gang Shootout – But Prosecutors Still Released Suspects)
In Philadelphia, crime has spiked 22.2% under Larry Krasner. The soft-on-crime DA has earned the ire of Philly residents who have accused him of prioritizing the wants of criminals over the needs of victims. Last month, a trio of Pennsylvania Republicans opened impeachment proceedings against Krasner.
“We are starting this process now because the unchecked violent crime in Philadelphia has reached a breaking point due to the willful refusal by District Attorney Krasner to enforce existing laws,” said Rep. Josh Kail.
“Lives have been lost, property has been destroyed, and families have been crushed. Enough is enough,” he said.
