Democrats in the California and Maryland legislatures introduced radical new bills this year effectively making it legal to kill a child up to 28 days after birth.
Maryland's Senate Bill 669 “proposes a revision of the fetal murder/manslaughter statute that would serve to handcuff the investigation of infant deaths unrelated to abortion. In other words – this bill will effectively legalize infanticide,” the American Center for Law & Justice reports.
“The exact language of the bill states: [This section may not be construed to authorize any form of investigation or penalty for a person . . . experiencing a . . . perinatal death related to a failure to act,” the ACLJ reports.
“In other words, a baby born alive and well could be abandoned and left to starve or freeze to death, and nothing could be done to punish those who participated in that cruel death. The bill also includes a section that would allow ‘a person [to] bring a cause of action for damages if the person was subject to unlawful arrest or criminal investigation for a violation of this section as a result of . . . experiencing a . . . perinatal death,'” the group claims.
California Assembly Bill 2223 contains similar language.
LifeSiteNews reports:
“we now have an official analysis provided by the Chief Counsel for the pro-abortion majority California State Assembly Committee on Judiciary, stating that “the ‘perinatal death' language could lead to an unintended and undesirable conclusion.” The analysis goes on to say that the bill
may not be sufficiently clear that ‘perinatal death' is intended to be the consequence of a pregnancy complication. Thus, the bill could be interpreted to immunize a pregnant person from all criminal penalties for all pregnancy related outcomes, including the death of a newborn for any reason during the ‘perinatal' period after birth, including a cause of death which is not attributable to pregnancy complications . . . .
It's not clear what the specific intent is, but it appears to many to be an attempt to block any investigation whatsoever of any illegal abortions, even though abortion is already radically legal in both states.

They want to legalize infanticide. A lot of the same activists have ranted that parents should have the right to get rid of children up to three years old, if they are too much of an emotional and financial burden.
The people who live in these two state better get it together and take down these murderers.. These people are sick. Actually, this is not due to ‘states rights’. They would have done it anyway. This is simply evil retaliating for something that makes them angry and resentful. As usual, they take an extreme view and extreme actions. SCOTUS did not remove any women’s rights. They simply gave the power back to the states. Like it or not, it is the way it should be. I do believe this is legalizing infanticide. And they will pay for what they are doing. Maybe not now, but at judgement.

Why would there be a need to kill the baby? I think it’s pretty much anationwide practice that you can drop off a baby at a fire station or police station or a hospital with no questions asked or any criminal charges against the mother…

Give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. How soon afterward will the mentally challenged and crippled be added to that list. Think of the twisted rational they would use to justify that. Millions of dollars on research & Medical procedures to correct physical disabilities would be eliminated so the government could use to continue and expand the BS they’re doing now. Anyone with children that have/had these problems know the heartbreak and love those kids. They do not want to kill their children.

I breastfed two baby girls and found it a wonderful experience . Please do not discourage young mothers from breast feeding! It was not exhausting at all . It was my husband , who was a pain in the neck . The boobies were for him, don’t you know.
