Virginia has emerged as a key battleground state this year with at least three competitive congressional races garnering national attention — as Republicans go all in trying to regain control of the United States House of Representatives next month.
Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District is the most competitive race in the state, where GOP State Senator Jen Kiggans is working to unseat two-term Democrat Elaine Luria.
Luria must be feeling the heat, as she resorted to using disgusting, sexist and demeaning rhetoric to talk about her opponent in a closing statement she said during a debate that took place earlier this week between the two women.
Luria launched into a rant about McCarthy during her second debate against Republican Virginia state Sen. Jen Kiggans in Smithfield on Monday.
“I see I have one minute left, so I’m just gonna wrap it up, but the thing is, like, this woman wants your gas prices to be high,” Luria said, gesturing toward Kiggans. “I just listened to an interview with Kevin McCarthy, who she wants to vote with for speaker, and he said, ‘This is becoming a little bit of a problem for Republicans as the midterms approach. I saw from August as gas prices were going down, we Republicans thought that might really hurt us winning the House …
They didn’t care about your pocketbook and the fact that gas prices were going down and that’s what they should want,” Luria continued. “They just want gas prices to stay high so they can win the election. And Kevin McCarthy, who wants to be speaker, who she says she’d vote for and will kiss his feet and his ring and every other thing, wants your gas prices to be high.”
Such rhetoric has no place in our political discourse, and it is appalling to hear from the mouth of a female, especially a Member of Congress, and a member of a party who constantly tells the world that they are pro-women.
As I mentioned earlier, Luria is guaranteed to be feeling the heat turned up by Kiggans and her team in the race.

The Cook Political Report ranks VA-02 as a “Toss-Up” race. The seat has a marginal GOP lean, with a Partisan Voter Index (PVI) of R+2.

Seems like the Republican candidate was given a gift there as her opponent gave away the game plan. Lower prices before the election to take the edge off Biden’s un-American plan to destroy the energy industry. The democrats have become the party of the New World Order, the Green Apocalypse, the WEF, race hatred, CRT, woke, abortion, anti-religion, death of fossil fuels with no viable alternative, well, you name an American societal norm from 2019 and you will see a democrat plan to attack it. Simply put, America last. This woman from the democrat left, seems like a perfect fit for their Marxist fascist utopia. But it should be easy for our gal to point all this out, like I just did, to her democrat opponent’s detriment.
