Podcaster Tim Pool reported that a gunman in “a vehicle” approached his property on Friday night and opened fire, adding that no one was harmed in the incident. Pool disclosed the details in a series of posts on X on Saturday morning.
“Last night a vehicle approached our property and opened fire,” he wrote. “No one was hurt. Our security team is reviewing the incident and will be relaying the report to appropriate law enforcement.” He added, “This is the price we pay for speaking out against evil.”
Pool said his “immediate thoughts” were that someone was attempting to intimidate him. He noted that his property is protected by “a security gate and armed guards.”
The reported shooting comes just three months after the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was killed on September 10 while answering questions from students at Utah Valley University.
Several public figures expressed support for Pool in response to his announcement. Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee, wrote, “This is insane. Glad everyone is safe.” Conservative journalist Jack Posobiec posted, “Praying for the whole Timcast family.” Brandon Showalter of the Christian Post added, “NO ONE deserves this.”
The incident occurs against the backdrop of heightened public concern about political violence in the United States. A recent national survey from Young America’s Foundation (YAF) found that, when asked about Kirk’s assassination, 70 percent of respondents agreed that “There is absolutely no justification for murdering someone over their viewpoints,” while 22 percent said that “Kirk’s viewpoints mean he brought this violence upon himself to an extent.”
Additionally, The Post Millennial reported on a Pew Research Center survey conducted between September 22–28, 2025, which found that “85 percent of Americans believe that political violence is on the rise.”
