Special Counsel David Weiss has indicted Hunter Biden on felony gun charges.
The president’s son faces three counts related to illegal possession of a firearm while under the influence of illegal drugs. The indictment stems from the younger Biden’s purchase of a handgun during which he lied about his substance abuse history on the federal license form.

The charges bring renewed legal pressure on the younger Biden after a plea agreement he struck with prosecutors imploded in recent months.
Prosecutors have spent years scrutinizing Hunter Biden’s business endeavors and personal life — a probe that appeared to culminate in a plea agreement the two sides struck in June, which would have allowed him to plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax offenses and enter into a pretrial diversion program to avoid prosecution on a felony gun charge.
But that deal fell apart during a court hearing in July after U.S. Judge Maryellen Noreika expressed concern over the structure of the agreement and questioned the breadth of an immunity deal, exposing fissures between the two parties.
Weeks later, on Aug. 11, Attorney General Merrick Garland elevated Weiss to special counsel, granting him broader authority to press charges against Hunter Biden in any district in the country.
Hunter’s indictment comes after his sweetheart deal fell through following whistleblower testimony.
Congressional Republicans also reacted, continuing to demand more investigative power to conclusively determine the president’s involvement in his son’s shady business dealings.

This whole fiasco will never end in any kind of a conviction of Hunter. Any trial will be delayed and shifted until the public has forgotten all about it. He’ll never see a jail cell.

This is a ruse. Gun charges for previously convicted felons are being routinely dismissed while Biden is focussed on taking guns from ordinary citizens. Weiss is well aware of the above and will point to those dismissals as a reason to dismiss this charge as well.
Well I’ll be danged; could it actually be true? Could this become the one exception in the long string of felonies among so many Democrats who have never been prosecuted?
I say Naw, he still has not been sentenced and a lot could happen as punishment; a caning with a straw, a tongue lashing, or papa could forgive him for all of his other offenses…I’ll believe it when it happens And Hilary, Bill and Barrack do time also…for real crimes against America!

Hunter was caught red handed and is guilty as sin. But,if Hunter is convicted or pleads guilty, his father will use the presidential pardon and pardon him. Under the law, he will walk free because you cannot be tried twice for the same crime.
