Mar-a-Lago, Florida — Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday unveiled a plan aimed at addressing crimes committed by illegal immigrant gangs, vowing to seize their assets and use them to compensate victims. Speaking at Mar-a-Lago, Trump criticized the Biden-Harris administration for what he described as lax border policies, which he claims have allowed criminal gangs to enter the United States.

“I’m announcing that for the first time under my administration, we will be seizing the assets of the criminal gangs and drug cartels,” Trump stated. “We’ll use those assets to create a compensation fund to provide restitution for the victims of migrant crime.” His proposal, aimed at reassuring Americans concerned about border security, signals a tough stance against both gang violence and illegal immigration. (If necessary, Trump also hinted at broader immigration reforms to follow as part of his plan.)

Trump added that the government would assist in the “restoration” and “restitution” efforts to support the victims, a measure he said is overdue. “The government will help in the restoration. The government will help in the restitution, but something has to be done, and we’re gonna get it done,” he asserted.
With just seven days before Election Day, Trump reiterated his pledge to “fight like Hell” on behalf of Americans, positioning his proposed policy as a significant step toward combating crime linked to illegal immigration.
