ANALYSIS – All at taxpayer expense. With all the pressing global issues America could be focusing on; from wars, to famine, to natural disasters, coups and dictatorships, Joe Biden pays a high-level official/activist at the State Department over $180,000 to promote LGBT issues worldwide.
Why? Because it's a priority. (RELATED: Another Freedom Loving State Bucks Biden's Radical Agenda)
In September 2021, Biden appointed Jessica Stern, to the recently created position. She is only the second person to hold this position.
The post was first created by Barack Obama, but President Donald Trump wisely left this position unfilled during his four-year tenure in the White House. It was then reactivated by Biden.
Her very high paying federal appointment also carries a lofty diplomatic title and the powerful global influence that come with it: “U.S. Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of ‘LGBTQI+ Persons.'”
For those who aren't up to speed on the latest iteration of the LGBTQI+, it stands for “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex persons.”
She is not only promoting this agenda, but she is authorized to pressure friends and allies to adopt laws and rules in their countries or face the wrath of the U.S. federal government.
I wrote more about this in 2022 in my piece titled “Biden State Department's ‘Radical Gender Imperialism' Targets Friends And Allies.”
Before representing the U.S. government overseas, Stern previously led the LGBT advocacy group Outright International, a private not-for-profit organization that similarly promoted their agenda worldwide.
While at the helm there she managed to gain the group “observer status” at the United Nations.
According to her State Department bio, prior to her 10-year stint as executive director of that group held numerous positions in left-leaning advocacy groups. And earlier, “Stern taught the first LGBTQI+ rights course at Columbia University's School of International & Public Affairs.” (RELATED: Who's The Killer Leaving Body Parts Next To New York Schools?)
But what has she been doing for our official U.S. foreign policy under Biden? She has been pressuring our friends with Biden's big foreign policies priority – pushing a political agenda.
As The Christian Post reported:
During an April 2022 special briefing, Stern said of the Presidential Memorandum that Biden signed near the beginning of his term that it “makes clear that promoting and protecting the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons is a U.S. foreign policy priority” [emphasis added].
The Biden appointee highlighted the findings of the first interagency report released in 2022, with the document outlining “how U.S. Government agencies engaged abroad are working to become more LGBTQI+-inclusive.”
“Through determined diplomacy and targeted foreign assistance, the United States is combating the criminalization of LGBTQI+ status or conduct, promoting protection of vulnerable LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers, responding to human rights abuses committed against LGBTQI+ persons, strengthening relationships with like-minded governments, engaging international organizations on the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons, and working to rescind policies inconsistent with our nation's values,” Stern stated.
The Post added: “Stern compared the [Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality] law to bills in the United States that ban life-changing procedures for children with gender dysphoria or exclude discussions about the topic of gender identity from lesson plans targeted at certain grade levels.”
This is outrageous.
No bill in the United States currently proposes or supports anything remotely anti-gay. Protecting young children in our schools has nothing to do with being gay.
But this is the kind of nonsense that Joe Biden and his cronies like Jessica Stern are promoting and prioritizing in U.S. foreign policy. The 2024 presidential election can't come soon enough.
