ANALYSIS – As someone involved in national security for over 30 years, I've written a lot about the FBI – about its successes as well as its politicization and corrupt, partisan leadership.
I've even argued that perhaps the entire FBI should be dissolved or broken up.
But I've generally defended the rank-and-file field agents, some of whom I've known or worked with. I've noted that most are hardworking, honorable patriots.
In a recent piece, I even noted that a ‘sizable percentage' of FBI agents and employees were reportedly ‘sympathetic' to the Capitol rioters and believed the FBI was conducting a witch hunt against them.
So, it saddens and angers me when I read that the FBI leadership lauded clueless or woke agents from the D.C field office who took a knee in front of BLM protesters and rioters in the summer of 2020.
Recall that police-hating, BLM race riots caused over $2 billion in damages nationwide, caused multiple civilian deaths and injured over 2,000 local police and other law enforcement.
As Gagliano notes: “Seattle and Minneapolis police precincts were occupied and immolated, a federal courthouse was firebombed while federal agents were trapped inside, and deadly “autonomous zones” were established in Democrat-led cities.”
This is the BLM mob these DC agents kneeled for in D.C. and leadership lauded.
What's more, the FBI Agents Association rewarded these kneeling agents kowtowing to the BLM mob with $100 gift cards.
Founded in 1981, the nonprofit organization boasts 14,000 members, including 90% of the current FBI agent workforce, and it used to command respect from the rank-and-file agents.
But maybe not so much now.
James Gagliano, a retired FBI supervisory special agent, writes in the New York Post:
FBI executive management lauded on-duty agents who knelt before Black Lives Matter protesters at the height of the George Floyd unrest and riots for their “de-escalation” efforts, The Washington Times recently reported. A whistleblower said the counterterrorism special agent in charge of the Washington, DC, field office even hugged each of them after the June 4, 2020, incident. While not all the “presence patrol” agents assigned to the scene — which included the Supreme Court and the National Archives — “took a knee” in a show of solidarity or an act of cowardice and capitulation, at least seven did.
And what was the FBI Agents Association's response to this embarrassing gesture? Well, as the paper reported and FBI insiders confirmed to me, the organization rewarded the kneelers with a $100 “attaboy” — or what it describes as gift cards of “modest value.”
While seven idiotic agents kneeling may only be a very small number of the entire FBI field agent force, the fact that our premier law enforcement agency had any who did that is disturbing.
But even worse is the leadership and the association rewarding them for it.
Gagliano rightly notes: “With outrageous, political decisions by its board, it has sullied itself just as James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Kevin Clinesmith annihilated the top law-enforcement agency's reputation during the 2016 Russiagate hoax.”
This is why the FBI is now distrusted by about half the country. Only 44% of Gallup respondents in 2021 felt the Bureau was doing an “excellent” or “good” job.
Gagliano concludes:
I have come to grips with the fact that my beloved FBI has been irreparably broken by woke activists serving amongst its senior ranks. And with the Justice Department appearing to do this president's bidding by targeting his political adversaries, it will take a monumental house-cleaning and seismic shift in culture at both DOJ and the FBI to begin to restore America's trust and confidence.
This is something I have said before and wholeheartedly agree with. A thorough FBI housecleaning is badly needed.

The FBI was once a very highly respected Agency. I will never respect them again as they have sided with the lying, corrupt and woke Democrats!! They just don’t seem to care about honesty and the psychological health of our Country!

It has always been corrupt. That is the way J. Edgar Hoover created it. He was the most feared and hated man in Washington. When he died Richard Nixon immediately raided his office and home to seize all the records he was using to blackmail the politicans. It should not only be abolished, but it’s senior leaders should be executed for treason against the American People. It has show why we do not need such an agency. Let the Federal Marshall do that job.

Here’s the horrific truth. The FBI has for almost two years, in the “biggest investigation in their history”, bragged about rounding up Americans all across the U.S. who attended a political rally on Jan. 6, 2020. Almost 900 have been arrested, many charged with the horrible crime of “walking around in an unauthorized area”. All have had their lives ruined and two have committed suicide. Nearly 300 have already been sentenced, one a 79 year old Grandmother with cancer. Meanwhile 34 political prisoners have been locked unconstitutionally in a D.C. gulag for a year and a half.
The Gateway Pundit now reports;
“Thirty-four US political prisoners of the Biden regime penned a very sad letter this week requesting a transfer to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba facility where they would receive meals, sunlight, freedom of religion, exercise, entertainment, and be treated like human beings.
These thirty-four January 6 political prisoners have been held for over a year and a half without trial for misdemeanors and trumped-up felony charges.
This group of men have been isolated, beaten viciously, abused, threatened, tormented, and belittled by the guards based on their political and religious beliefs.
The men and women have been without medical assistance, medications, exercise, and most of these men have been held in isolation with little human contact for months at a time.”
It’s abhorrent and disgusting that this is happening in America. This administration has weaponized all the three letter agencies (the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the DOD) against its political opposition and, at this point, the FBI may be corrupt beyond repair. Unless there’s a Republican Tsunami (and not just a “red wave”) this November I fear that our once great Republic will be lost forever.
Nothing less than partisan goon squads, in the tradition of Uncle Adolph’s brown shirts and Stalins KGB. All the three lettered agencies are weapons against all resistance to The Party. Liberty has One Last Chance…
Once we take control of our nation back, where to begin? Do we even have the prison space for all that will be going there? The Biden trials will come last. Come on we can’t have kamala on the switch. She’s more ignorant than Joe. The Biden family corruption can’t just be swept under the rug. We’ll have the purse strings. Watch what happens when FUNDING is cut for FBI and DOJ. That should kill most of the swamp.
Where to begin? Easy, get rid of everyone, in every department, hired or appointed by the obama and Biden administrations. That would be a good start, but sadly that can’t be done until 2024 and a new president is in office.

Example: Capitol Police Officer Lt. Byrd, MURDERED Mrs. Ashli Babbitt, an UNARMED United States Air Force Veteran, who was attending a rally at the U.S. Capitol (peoples house) on January 6.
This Murder case has not even been presented to a Grand Jury and Byrd, is no where to be found.
When I retired from from federal law-enforcement many years ago, all new-hires had to be woke. This was accomplished by aptitude-testing in which applicants had to complete prior to being hired. In order to pass, applicants had to cleave to liberal values. As the old guard retired, the remaining agents were replaced by Snowflakes and liberal activists, hence the FBI we see today. That’s how we got Strozk, Comey, Wray, and others like them, promoted to the higher positions. This is now true of almost all federal employees, regardless of their agency.
Bullshiff. It there are so many good agents why aren’t more coming forward as whistleblowers? The FBI is corrupt beyond repair. The bragged about the largest manhunt in U.S. history to find and charge and lock up people for protesting on Jan. 6 in a “riot” where no weapons were ever found, nothing was set on fire, and the only person killed on that day was an unarmed female veteran named Ashli Babbitt. Most don’t know it, but over9 00 have been charged and some 300 already sentenced for “walking around in unauthorized areas”; some even on video being let in by Capitol Police. Two, of the hundreds that have had their lives ruined, have already committed suicide and last month a 68 year old Grandmother with cancer was sentenced to jail time. It’s abhorrent and disgusting.
How many of the thousands of ANTIFA and BLM criminals that did untold billions in real damage in the real riots of the summer of 2020 that injured thousands of police officers and killed two dozen innocent people have been hunted down and arrested? Riots that all the media and social media and the President and Vice President and Speaker of The House and all the Democrats supported as righteous and “mostly peaceful”. This administration has weaponized, not just the FBI, but the DOJ, the CIA, the IRS and even the DOD against its political opposition. Even as we watch our cities descend into crime ridden hell holes because of the “no bail” and “defund the police” policies inspired by BLM (and supported by all the Democrats) they have the unmitigated gall to pronounce that “white supremacy is the greatest threat to the Homeland”.
There were no consequences for the head of the FBI and dozens of his agents who, in collusion with Hillary Clinton and all the Democrats and all the mainstream and social media lied about a fake “dossier” and instituted a “Special Prosecutor” and two impeachments to oust a duly elected President. No consequences for lying and covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story to throw a Presidential election. And no consequences for Hunter flying around the world with his Dad on Air Force 2 making illegal “pay for play” deals worth tens of millions with hostile foreign powers. Deals that his Dad lied and said he knew nothing about, even though he got his 10% cut and can be seen meeting with Hunter’s business partners. They lie about inflation and the recession and no new taxes and it never ends. Anyone who disagrees is a racist, a homophobe, a misogynist or a xenophobe. Parents who oppose CRT or gender mutilation of children are “domestic terrorists”.
Unless there is a Republican Tsunami (and not just a “red wave”) in November, I fear our once great country will be lost forever.
