Navy Reveals More ‘Sensitive Information’ on UFOs Exists – But Won’t Release It

-

While American sailors and airmen have felt relatively comfortable speaking about encounters with and “60 Minutes” reported on sightings involving objects without any visible means of propulsion flying in inexplicable ways, the compiled information on scores of encounters between the U.S. military, predominately involving the , and what it calls unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).

The Director of National Intelligence released an unclassified report with the preliminary findings of the UAP Task Force last year.

But the Navy says more evidence, including video footage, is out there. But the maritime force is refusing to release it — saying the videos would “harm national security.”

As Live Science reports:

The admission came in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the transparency site The Black Vault, which has previously shared thousands of pages of UFO-related documents received via FOIA requests to the CIA and other government agencies. The Black Vault filed the FOIA request to the U.S. Navy in April 2020 — just one day after the Navy declassified three now-infamous videos shot by Navy pilots showing high-tech aircraft moving in seemingly impossible ways. The Black Vault requested that the Navy now turn over any and all other videos related to UAP.

More than two years later, the government responded with a letter that both confirmed that more UAP videos exist and denied the request to turn them over due to national security concerns.

“The release of this information will harm national security as it may provide adversaries valuable information regarding Department of Defense/Navy operations, vulnerabilities, and/or capabilities,” Gregory Cason, deputy director of the Navy's FOIA office, wrote in a response letter. “No portions of the videos can be segregated for release.”

Cason said the Navy only declassified the April 2020 videos because they were previously leaked to outlets and their contents were being “discussed extensively in the public domain.”

Interestingly, in its response to The Black Vault's request, the Navy did not make any attempts to conceal the existence of additional UAP videos. There are clearly more videos of inexplicable UFO encounters in the Navy's archives, but how many and what they depict will have to remain a mystery for now.

So far, there isn't a scintilla of evidence that the UFOs contain little green men or human time travelers from the distant future. But while U.S. intelligence officials can't confirm the existence of alien spacecraft harassing ships and planes, they don't rule them out either.

What do you think? Are UFO sightings reported by military personnel likely evidence of someone, or something else, watching us? As always, let us know in the comments below!

  1. Of course there is extraterrestrial individuals out there. They wouldn’t be hiding it with that flimsy excuse for not releasing further evidence. Do we really think we are the only Navy Pilots that have seen them. If you think this then you are an Ostrich with your head in the sand. When God created the Universe what makes everyone so sure we were the only Planet he put living beings on it. Can’t say humans as we don’t know what they look like. I, for one will not be surprised when this us proven.

    • But, be careful. If mankind is any indicator, those who are more “advanced” will usually move in and take from the less advanced.

  2. We are here to protect you from what you should know for your own protection. Convoluted doublespeak from the bureaucratic authoritarians that think they know what is better for you than you or even your ELECTED representatives.

    • After seeing some of our elected representatives in actin no matter what party if a flying saucer landed in the street in front of my house, the little green men came in to visit and if they completely destroyed the street when they took off I wouldn’t tell a soul.

  3. It’s pretty clear these things are flown by extraterrestrials from beyond the stars. Abductees who have seen them describe them as octopus-like but with only six tentacles, and a single large eye. Sextopuses, I guess they can be called. They are green, wear a clear dome over their heads, and slobber a lot.

    • Yeah but I get a feeling they might be smarter than we are. They just fly around but the stupid ones land in our mess.

    • You just described the Rigellians from the Simpsons. Kodos and Klang? But you probably knew that, didn’t you? Good one.

    • From what I understand, their only known weakness is a board with a nail in it. We need to start arming ourselves, ASAP!

  4. Sightings have been going on since the 1940’s, possibly earlier than that, but most were debunked by our government. Something is “ out there”, we need to know the truth!

  5. Anyone whose so arrogant as to feel we’re the smartest beings in the universe is a fool. Though I’ve never seen a flying saucer, many years ago while working I often traveled near the lower end of Death Valley during the wee small hours of the night and saw some very strange lights in the surrounding mountains. Did I tell anyone what I saw? HELL NO! Were they little green men? WHO KNOWS?

  6. If they are aliens, remember that there are just as many “reports” of reptile forms as there are of the little men with the big eyes. Reptiles have not changed substantially in 10,000 years, so it’s just as possible they are the “visitors” as it is that ET is. And not necessarily “in peace”.

  7. Don’t you all think we the people have a government research area capable of designing this type of “weapon” and perhaps no one has a “NEED TO KNOW?”

  8. I’m sure there’s other life. Not sure if they want to come here to meet and greet with half evolved chimpanzees with nuclear weapons.
I sure as hell would think twice.
