US Commanding Generals Clueless About Left’s ‘Woke’ Agenda

-

WEDNESDAY  – PAUL'S DAILY BRIEFING  U.S. generals are clueless about the left's woke agenda. They are buying the talking points and clearly don't understand the real meaning behind the terms.

FIRSTLY, ‘INCLUSION' FORCES ACCEPTANCE AND PROMOTION OF THE RADICAL TRANS AGENDA – Woke-ism not an issue, top military leaders say. Inclusion is actually a critical part of unit cohesion, Air Force chief and Marine commandant said.

Secondly, ‘inclusion' is only one of three terms in the Left's DEI agenda which includes Diversity and Equity. Thirdly, ‘diversity promotes divisions based on gender and race.

Fourthly, ‘equity' is the socialist opposite of equality. It forces discrimination to achieve ‘equal' results.

Transgender troops warn GOP bill could upend lives, weaken military. Kora Delta was one of thousands of U.S. troops who helped evacuate more than 100,000 people from Afghanistan in the summer of 2021.

The mission came as ‘she' was awaiting taxpayer funded ‘gender-affirming care' (genital mutilation and life-altering hormones) a few months after Team Biden announced that people could serve openly in the military, reversing a Trump policy.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY – Here's a roundup of other developing stories.

Not the President's Daily Brief, but almost as good – PAUL'S DAILY BRIEFING – the PDB:

NATIONAL SECURITY

The hypersonic arms race is heating up. The Pentagon's fiscal 2024 budget shows that the U.S. – as a late starter — has fully entered the hypersonic weapons race with and Russia, in hopes of producing its first 24 hypersonic missiles in 2024 – eight for the Navy and the rest for the Army.

Go big: Air Force should double B-21 Raider buy, think tank says. A new report by the Mitchell Institute argues that the Air Force should procure 225 or more of the next-gen stealth bombers to effectively deter adversaries and shore up more cost-effective long-range strike capabilities.

CHINA THREAT

US tells China not to overread likely Taiwan president visit. Team Biden is putting out the word in advance that an expected unofficial stopover in the U.S. by Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen would fall in line with recent precedent and should not be used as a pretext by Beijing to step up aggressive activity in the Taiwan Strait.

ASSUMES CHINA WILL WAIT YEARS FOR THE SUBS TO ARRIVE – How the new AUKUS nuke sub agreement impacts Beijing's calculus on Taiwan. A research fellow at the UK's Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) defense think tank, said AUKUS will likely make a Chinese attack on Taiwan, “decidedly less appealing.”

In first ever service-level exercise, new Marine Corps unit focuses on role in China fight. The commanding general of 3rd Marine Division said the recent exercise was an “inflection point” for his command.

RUSSIA THREAT – WAR

US to fast-track Abrams for Ukraine by going with older version. The Pentagon is speeding up its delivery of M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, opting to send a refurbished older model that can be ready faster and reach Ukrainian troops in eight to 10 months.

Russia-Ukraine war: List of key events, day 392. Russian leader Vladimir Putin hosted his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping for two days. On the second day, Putin and Xi signed an agreement bringing relations into a “new era of cooperation,” with the two leaders calling for “responsible dialogue” to resolve the Ukraine crisis.

Ukraine's leadership doubles down on Bakhmut defense as Russians get closer. Ukrainian commanders say they are sapping Russian strength in the eastern city to give their planned offensive a better chance of success.

Slovakia gets US helicopter offer after sending jets to Ukraine. The U.S. offered to sell Slovakia 12 new Bell AH-1Z Viper helicopters at a two-thirds discount after Bratislava sent its retired MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.

NORTH KOREA THREAT

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY

SPINNING A NEGATIVE – AS TRUMP SAID – MOST EUROPEANS DON'T SPEND ENOUGH TO DEFEND THEMSELVES – Only 7 NATO members hit alliance's 2 percent GDP defense spending target in 2022. Despite the concerning finding, between 2021 and 2022, defense spending across the alliance increased by 2.2 percent in real terms, surpassing an estimated $1 trillion. THEY NEED TO SPEND MORE.

US targets Iranian drone industry in latest round of sanctions. They target firms and individuals accused of buying drone parts on behalf of the Iranian government.

BIDEN'S AFGHAN DISASTER

Tensions rise over House investigation of Afghanistan withdrawal as panel threatens subpoena for documents. A House committee investigating the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan is escalating its demand for Team Biden to turn over documents that could shed light on the disastrous end of America's longest war.

A string of assassinations in Afghanistan points to ISIS resurgence with US officials warning of possible attacks on American interests. Since returning to power in Afghanistan in 2021, the Taliban have struggled to contain the Islamic State Khorasan province, or ISIS-K – the official Islamic State group affiliate operating in Afghanistan.

SPACE THREAT

Starlink satellites are boosting Air Force communication across the Indo-Pacific. The Air Force is using commercial satellites to communicate with airmen dispersed across the vast Indo-Pacific, officials said in Japan.

US MILITARY

HORRIBLE – Pearl Harbor families drank antifreeze, not just jet fuel in water. Military and civilian families who drank and bathed in fuel-tainted water after a fuel spill at the Navy's Red Hill facility in November 2021 contaminated their drinking water, were also exposed to antifreeze. The coolant potentially poses the biggest health risk.

  1. Clueless arrogant generals do not have a clue about what they don’t know and are self convinced that they know it all. Same type of generals that were murdered after inviting the vandals into rome thinking they coul pay them to just go away.

  2. I wouldn’t be so certain this guy – or any civilian from whatever media source( thinking of the mentality of Geraldo ( Harold ) Rivera ( Rivers ) – thinks they have a handle on what is happening in the military front . Propaganda is an old tool that still carries a razor-sharp edge : that cuts both ways . The military know this thru experience . civilians rarely get but one side of the story . Military folks invoke both views and experiences .
