A Fox Corp. shareholder is suing leaders at the company and chairman  over ' coverage of the 2020 presidential election.

According to The Hill, shareholder  alleges in a lawsuit filed in Delaware Chancery Court that Murdoch and other board members breached their fiduciary duties to shareholders by failing to uphold the company's ethical reputation.

“FOX knew – from the Board on down – that Fox News was reporting false and dangerous misinformation about the 2020 Presidential election, but FOX was more concerned about short-term ratings and market share than the long-term damages of its failure to tell the truth,” Schwarz said in his lawsuit.

Fox is separately fighting a $1.6 billion lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, which has alleged the network knowingly aired false information about its software being promoted by former President Trump's allies and associates.

Fox has fiercely defended itself on First Amendment grounds and has argued the network was covering the allegations being made by the then-President because they were newsworthy.

“This case is and always has been about the First Amendment protections of the media‘s absolute right to cover the news,” Fox said in a recent statement about the case. “Fox will continue to fiercely advocate for the rights of free speech and a free press as we move into the next phase of these proceedings.”

Last week, Judge Eric Davis ruled Dominion could call top Fox Corp. executives like Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch as witnesses to testify during a jury trial, which is slated to begin on Monday.

  1. If the communists throw enough BS crap out there eventually something could stick. They are hell bent on destroying America and our way of life in their quest for power and millions upon millions of slaves. We have a duty to resist them at all costs. Defend Fox since they are one of the few that haven’t capitulated….

  2. It has been suggested that America, just like Fox News, can and perhaps will be destroyed by decay and betrayal from WITHIN. At least two presidents now have delighted in appointing battalions of DeepStaters who loathe the USA and what it has always stood for.

    • Just about anything you could imagine and much that you could not, “has been suggested’ by someone, some time, who would like to see America destroyed Many such suggestions come from people who hate America, but for every hater there are many more people who love America who will resist attempts to destroy it.
