Lady Victoria Hervey, a British aristocrat and former girlfriend of Prince Andrew, is facing unrelenting criticism today after making vile comments celebrating the death of Virginia Giuffre, the American woman who accused the Duke of York of sexual abuse.
Giuffre, 41, died by suicide in Australia this week, according to her family. She had long alleged — with great credibility and detail — that, as a teenager, she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to Prince Andrew, among others. Giuffre accused the Duke of York of sexually abusing her on three occasions when she was 17 — a claim Andrew has consistently, if awkwardly, denied.
Hervey responded to news of Giuffre’s untimely death by posting a screenshot of a headline on Instagram with the caption, “When lies catch up to you, there’s no way out.” Her comments were universally condemned. Following the predictable backlash, Hervey announced she would be pausing her public statements on the matter.
“I have taken the decision to pause my posts on the topic of Virginia Giuffre at this time. Irrespective of the circumstances, suicide in anyone at any time is tragic and in a young mother who has children, even more so,” she wrote.
Hervey’s remarks came shortly after she had publicly mocked Giuffre over a vehicle collision that resulted in significant injuries last month, calling it “karma.” Giuffre had mistakenly announced she had only days to live in a post from a hospital bed, where she alleged that “a school bus driver” plowed into her at 70 mph as she was “slowing for a turn.” (RELATED: [SHOCK VIDEO] GOP Star Takes Down Possibly Largest Child Trafficking Ring EVER)

The Daily Mail has additional details:
Lady Victoria claims Prince Andrew was ‘set up’ after an ‘organised attack on the Royal family’, and launched a social media attack on Ms Giuffre, who won a multi-million pound settlement from Prince Andrew following claims she had been forced to have sex with him three times at the age of 17 when she was trafficked by his friend Epstein.
Andrew repeatedly denied her allegations and has said he can’t recall ever meeting her, although a photograph of them together in a London townhouse, his arm around her bare midriff, was included in Giuffre’s lawsuit against him.
She insisted Ms Giuffre’s credibility had been ‘destroyed’ after she was released from hospital following a dramatic claim that she had only ‘four days’ to live after a car crash in Australia.
Critics slammed the former socialite as ‘nasty’ and ‘vile’ after her brutal Instagram post in which she shared Ms Giuffre’s selfie of herself with a badly bruised face and claiming that she was about to die from kidney failure with the word ‘Karma’.
Andrew’s 2019 interview with BBC’s Newsnight — in which he claimed, among other things, that he could not sweat and had been at a Pizza Express birthday party during one of the alleged encounters with Giuffre — was widely criticized. Following the fallout, Andrew stepped back from royal duties “for the foreseeable future” under pressure from Queen Elizabeth II and senior royal advisers. The Royal Family eventually reached a financial settlement with Giuffre reported to be around £12 million (approximately $16 million), which included a contribution to Giuffre’s charity for abuse survivors. Andrew was stripped of his military affiliations and royal patronages and is no longer permitted to use the title “His Royal Highness” in any official capacity. While occasional reports surface about the possibility of his return to public life, King Charles III is said to have no intention of restoring his brother’s royal duties, and public opinion in the United Kingdom remains firmly opposed.
Adding to the controversy around Giuffre’s death, a 2019 social media post resurfaced in which she stated she was “not suicidal” and expressed fear of “evil people.” Her prior comments, combined with the Epstein case’s history of suspicious deaths, have fueled skepticism online regarding the official account of her passing.

The photo to which you refer in this article has been established as a copy of a copy of a copy, not the original, and is apparently photoshopped.
Maxwell claims that she was not in the original photograph, for example, and when you look at the hand around Guiffre’s waist the arm would have needed to be six feet long if it was Andrew’s.
I’m inclined to read his part of the story as a result.
I also read last year that she had an attorney who was trying again to shake Andrew down, despite the earlier settlement. What happened to that?
S, Epstein is dead, having hanged himself off the end of a prison bed which was two feet ? off the floor while the guards were mysteriously elsewhere, and the cameras were pointed elsewhere than to his cell?
Guiffre is dead. Maxwell is alive and has denied the credibility of the photo and Guiffre’s claims.
