So, do you have any kids or grandkids who might be thinking of going to Mexico for Spring Break? Or any other vacation south of the Rio Grande or along the Gulf of America? The prudent parent/grandparent would tell them to cancel those plans. “But we’ve already put money down!” they might say.
Pretty sure their lives are worth more than a pre-paid spring break trip or a deposit on hotels, etc.
Are you and your spouse thinking of going to that failed state of Mexico for recreation?
You might reconsider those plans.
Here’s what happened to nine young people who went on vacay to southern Mexico:

The bodies of nine students who went missing on vacation in southern Mexico last month have been found dismembered by the side of a local highway — with a bag of hands nearby.
The group’s gruesome remains were discovered in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle and underneath a blood-covered tarp in San Jose Miahuatlan on the border of the Mexican states of Puebla and Oaxaca.
Four of the bodies were in the trunk, while the other five corpses were left under the tarp.
A bag with eight pairs of hands was also found at the scene, with two more hands left in the trunk, reported Periodico Central.
They were tortured before they were killed. For those slow on the uptake, that means the women (and maybe some of the men) were gang raped. Repeatedly and viciously.

I have ZERO desire to ever travel to Mexico, and if I had children they would not be allowed to go there either.
Yes, please skip Mexico this year. Travel instead to wonderful, safe cities in the USA, like NYC, Chicago, Dallas, LA, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Las Vegas, Detroit, etc etc
I hear there are GREAT Luxury hotels there you can book. AND you’ll even be able to interact with some foreigners who would just LOVE to entertain and host you. At the USA govt. expense, of course.
I ust to trave the world enjoying the people, locations and customs. Today Its just not safe to go out side the borders of the USA or to enter certain sections of the USA. Its getting down right scary that we have allowed terrorist group and drug cartels to thrive, grow bigger, and have such an influence on the world.

I had a friend who was living in Georgia and went to Mexico with a friend. My friend decided to stay in Mexico because she was staying with family. One day, I received an email from her aunt that she was out with friends, and had a cocktail, the following morning she was dead. Mexico is not a safe place, and neither are some neighborhoods in America. Before this article, I knew about many Americans who vacationed in Mexico and never made it back home. Some were stranded, others were murdered, and the ineptness of our State Department was no help at all, depending upon the administration that was in charge. I do not know how many people know what the word “Mexico” means. It means mixed up. Mexico is a mixture of many ethnic groups, such as Spanish, French, and natives from South America. Hispanics are generally very passionate. They are either wonderful lovers, or brutal murders when offended. Some are more easily offended than others. One wrong word or even a gesture can spark an unexpected reaction.

I’m a Southern redneck, 50 year NRA member, part time resident writing from Mexico and would rather spend time here any day than to set foot in crime ridden Chicago. To publish and be associated with misleading crap like this this, does “Guns Save Life” a real disservice and I just unsubscribed. The millions of international visitors to and part time residents of Mexico are shaking their heads and hope you never join them.
