Texas officials revealed that a Border Patrol tactical team arrived outside Robb Elementary School on Tuesday between noon and 12:10 p.m., far earlier than initially reported.
However, they didn’t breach the adjoining classrooms where the teen gunman murdered 19 children and two adults for almost one hour. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson Asks ‘Essential Questions’ After School Massacre)
They were ordered to hold before confronting the shooter.
The news follows Friday’s revelation by the Texas Department of Safety that the gunman was “undisrupted” from when he shot his grandmother to when he entered the school through an unlocked door.
The on-site commander believed the gunman, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, was barricaded in a classroom during the attack and that the children were not at risk, Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said at a news conference Friday.
“He was convinced at the time that there was no more threat to the children and that the subject was barricaded and that they had time to organize” to get into the classroom, McCraw said.
McCraw later said it was “the wrong decision” to wait to breach the classrooms.
“Obviously, based on the information we have, there were children in that classroom that were still at risk. From the benefit of hindsight where I’m sitting now, of course it was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision. Period,” McCraw said.

The whole effort was an absolute disgrace.
Our congressmen consume millions of dollars of taxpayer money each year and most of them are not willing to do anything about this huge issue. If our lawmakers are not doing their job, they need to be removed in the next election.
Every resident of this country has the ability to enforce change if they are willing to vote based on actual results instead of hot air and propaganda.
This is not meant to be political as it applies to everyone. Why do you allow these politicians to get re-elected when they are not solving problems like this?
