Republicans Promise Fauci Probe – If They Win

-

The most famous scientist in America is ready for time out of the spotlight.

But if Republicans win big in November — Dr. may be in for an unwelcome surprise.

That's according to Fauci's longtime nemesis, Sen. (R-Ky.). Paul is favored to chair the , Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee if Republicans win control of the .

“If we win in November, if I'm chairman of a committee, if I have subpoena power, we'll go after every one of [Fauci's] records,” Paul declared.

The Hill has more on reaction to the senator's message:

Republicans have not been shy about launching probes into the U.S. response to the coronavirus pandemic, focusing on the origins of the virus and whether the federal — and by extension, Fauci — helped fund controversial research that might have played a role in its creation.

Public health experts said a hard look needs to be taken at the totality of the U.S. response to the pandemic across both the Trump and Biden administrations, but without getting into partisan finger-pointing.

In the House, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-), who is in line to chair the House Judiciary Committee if Republicans win the majority, told The Hill that he sees no limits to what he wants to investigate about Fauci and the pandemic.

While the GOP is heavily favored to win the House, control of the Senate remains a toss-up.

Republicans already have an ambitious list of oversight goals with targets ranging from 's lucrative relationships to the stubbornly porous U.S.-Mexico border, as American Liberty News reported July 19:

“I think it's really going to be focused on holding the accountable and getting answers. … It is going to be a lot of intense oversight,” said Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), who is expected to be majority leader if the chamber flips to the GOP.

And Republicans will have lots to choose from. The problem will be prioritizing from a long list of damaging Biden issues. And being ready to launch when the new House session begins in January 2023.

Whether Republicans win control of one chamber or both, expect plenty of oversight hearings to pressure Democrats heading into 2024.

  1. I still say that the records should be turned over to UN for international trial. Fauci and Obama are guilty of crimes against humanity by funding the creation of Covid-19 and every death from it is on their hands. They are mass murderers!

  2. Hope they take Joe Biden and his administration down. Dr Fauci should of been arrested years ago for murdering children. Go to the patent office and see. Dr Fauci and Bill Gates had patents on the covid vaccines before anyone knew about covid. Need to investigate Soros for all his payoffs to DAs, judges and lawyers who broke so many laws.

  3. I know we are going to win, and I say go full force to put him away. He is as crooked as they come. He has been working right along with China and made millions from them on Covid. He needs to spend the rest of his life in prison for Treason.

  4. Right. Just wait till the injuries and deaths resulting from the experimental VAX start rolling in, yes, the one Dr. Birx and a bunch of other ‘experts’ falsely swore would protect against COVID.
