Trump Nominates Nick Adams As US Ambassador To Malaysia

President Donald Trump has nominated conservative commentator and social media personality Nick Adams to serve as U.S. ambassador to Malaysia, pending Senate confirmation.

Adams, a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Australia, is best known for his prolific online presence, outspoken support of Trump, and self-styled “alpha male” persona — often paired with his well-documented “thirstiness” for Hooters girls.

He rose to prominence in 2016 after Trump endorsed his book Green Card Warrior: My Quest for Legal Immigration in an Illegals’ System, which chronicled his journey to American citizenship and critique of the U.S. immigration system. Since then, Adams has authored several books promoting conservative values and American exceptionalism.

As Politico reports:

He has since published six books naming Joe Biden “The Most Dangerous President in History” and lionizing Trump and Winston Churchill as “Defenders of Western Civilization.” Trump penned the foreword for Adams’ 2024 book “Alpha Kings,” which tells young men how to be “a true alpha male.”

“It is nothing short of a lifetime’s honor to take the president’s goodwill and spread it to the great people of Malaysia,” Adams said in a video posted to X on Thursday.

Before moving to the U.S., Adams served as deputy mayor of Ashfield, a suburb of Sydney, in 2005 — becoming the youngest person to hold that office at the time. In the United States, he founded the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG), a nonprofit organization focused on instilling patriotic values in America’s youth.

Supporters applaud Adams’ energy, media savvy, and strong alignment with Trump’s “America First” agenda. Liberal critics, however, predictably question his diplomatic readiness, citing his lack of formal foreign policy experience and online persona.

If confirmed, Adams would succeed Edgard Kagan, a career Foreign Service officer who has served as the U.S. ambassador to Malaysia since March 2024.
