Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel drew attention on Wednesday when he advised supporters of Donald Trump to vote on “Thursday or Friday” instead of on Election Day, during his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Kimmel emphasized the importance of voting early to his viewers, jokingly advising Trump supporters to delay their vote: “If you want to vote for Trump, vote late. Vote very late. Do your voting on Thursday or maybe Friday,” he said, adding that this would be his third time voting against Trump.

This is a great reminder to vote as early as you can and to drag a friend or family member with you.

This statement led some social media users to compare Kimmel’s remarks to a similar controversy that ended quite differently. Prominent figures on X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed to Douglass Mackey, a social media influencer who was convicted of attempting to mislead voters in 2016 with memes encouraging Clinton supporters to vote via text—an invalid option. Mackey’s online influence peaked at approximately 58,000 followers in 2016, whereas Kimmel’s broadcast reaches millions, plus additional online views on YouTube and other platforms.
When I made an election joke, the Deep State used it as a pretext to conduct a fishing expedition against me, subpoenaing all financial records, leases, employment information and pay stubs, and email accounts.

Will Jimmy Kimmel enjoy the same? https://t.co/uAMI9saL2i
Kimmel also addressed supporters of Kamala Harris in his audience, offering straightforward voting advice: “Vote early, vote early. If you can’t vote early, vote on time.”
Election Day is next Tuesday, making any vote cast “on Thursday or Friday,” as Kimmel advised Trump supporters, too late.

It is doubtful that anyone who has (early voting) or will vote for DJT watches this ‘comedian’ but the point is this is the latest example of our multi-tiered ‘justice’ system. IOW he will get a pass and massive cover from the lame stream media.
