Actor Alec Baldwin has pled not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while filming the western film “Rust.”

Baldwin entered his plea on Thursday, waiving his right to a first appearance in court, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital

The “30 Rock” actor was set to appear in court Friday at 12 p.m. EST.

The move comes shortly after The Santa Fe County District Attorney’s Office told the New York Post it filed paperwork to drop a firearm enhancement charge on one of the two manslaughter charges against the “30 Rock” star.

The decision to drop the charge means Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer who supervised Baldwin’s gun now face a maximum sentence of 18 months, a dramatic reduction from a possible five-year prison sentence. Sorry Alec. You pulled the trigger causing a person’s death. You are guilty of murder. You did the crime, now you have to do the time. No excuses.

    It’s a rule….pathological narcissists never plead guilty.

People you dont understand the gun he was using. You have to pull back on the hammer and let it go. The hammer has got to be pulled back all the way before it will fire. Baldwin did this twice while killed one person and wounded another. The worst thing that could happen is about to. Baldwin will be sued out of existence. Couldnt have happened to a nastier Hollywood jerk. He is deserving.
