A California Democrat labeled the recent removal of illegal immigrants by federal agents in Los Angeles as “domestic terrorism.”
Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove appeared on CNN’s “The Arena” and accused the Trump administration of carrying out “domestic terrorism” by enforcing immigration law.
“I would argue that this is not immigration policy that we’re seeing unfold. This is domestic terrorism,” Kamlager-Dove told host Brianna Keilar before going on to claim that Americans do not support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation raids.
A recent poll by CBS News found that a majority of Americans support President Donald Trump’s deportation agenda. Deportations notched a net approval rating of plus eight. The poll was completed just before the deportation raids and riots began in the Los Angeles area.
Keilar followed up on Kamlager-Dove’s comment, pressing the California Democrat on her use of “domestic terrorism.” Keilar asked specifically if the elected lawmaker was refering to “ICE raids” as “domestic terrorism.”
“What I’m saying is when you have grandmothers taking young children to church or to the grocery store or to a little Korean market like the one that was in my district that was raided; and all of a sudden you see masked individuals with no identification producing no judicial warrants that have names on it, asking no questions, snatching people, putting them in a van, carting them off, detaining them, not informing their parents or family members, not even allowing Congress members to go in and check and make sure that everything is okay, and then deporting them, you have a real problem,” said Kamlager-Dove.
“Yes, I would argue that you are terrorizing communities,” she added.

A fellow Democrat also made a radical claim about the lawful removal of illegal immigrants from the United States.
During a hearing on “sanctuary” policies, Rep. Stephen Lynch (Mass.) called ICE agents “thugs” who were committing “abductions” in a way reminiscent of the Gestapo “grabbing people off the streets of Poland.”
“It does look like a Gestapo operation! It does look like the Gestapo!” Lynch yelled, describing one alleged ICE encounter. “That’s an appropriate comparison. That’s exactly what it was like!”
Democrat Congressman Stephen Lynch suggests President Trump and immigration officers are "Nazis" and he is "proud" to "fight" against them.

This is the type of dangerous rhetoric inciting violence across the country. pic.twitter.com/UXyAhmztln
Notably, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) recently compared ICE agents as to the Gestapo, as well.
“Trump isn’t trying to protect us, he’s trying to divide us,” Lynch charged. “It’s us and them, he’s trying to divide us. … He’s pitting neighbor against neighbor.”

Obviously not interested in upholding the law of the land as sworn or affirmed to in the oath of office. The law is the law and he cannot make up his own. If he goes against the law he is guilty of not following his oath of office. Not following the oath is grounds for removal from office. Fighting against federal officers that are following the law is grounds for arrest. You cannot simply make up your own rules that are in conflict with the law of the land. If you don’t like them, either try to change them or find someplace in the world where your “dreamland” might exist. Here is a tip. Been all over the world. And you will not ever find a place better than the United States to live.
For members of Congress, the oath is specified in the Constitution, which states that they “shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support this Constitution”.
The specific wording of the oath for members of Congress is: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
Federal law is federal law. If he doesn’t like it, resign; because it is part of his oath to support that law.
We’ve got to have priorities. Let’s go after murderers, thieves, rapists, arsonists, etc. People who have done nothing wrong other than being here should be off the list or at the very, very bottom.
Another fine example of the stupidity of Democrat party members.
Ice raids? The majority of Americans voted for their removal – what do you want – a telephone call to announce you are coming? How far in advance? I see people with multiple serious felonies who were previously deported – what do the do-gooders want? – more theft, brutal murders and drugs but not until it happens in their own homes?
It’s infuriating that the Democrats cannot wrap their minds around the fact that “illegal” means Not Legal, and burning property is Not peaceful protest, it’s terrorizing us citizens. If a person did not come here through the legal channels, they do not belong here. U.S. citizens should not be expected to support law-breakers.
