Columbia University Faces Consequences After Accuracy in Media Exposes Campus Antisemitism

For months, Accuracy in Media has been on the ground at Columbia University, relentlessly documenting and exposing the rise of antisemitism on campus. From inflammatory protests to faculty affiliations with extremist groups, AIM’s investigations have revealed a troubling pattern of hostility toward Jewish students—one that Columbia’s administration failed to address.

Through undercover footage, mobile billboard campaigns, and direct confrontations with university officials, AIM brought national attention to what many in leadership tried to ignore. These efforts revealed not just isolated incidents, but a culture of tolerance for antisemitic rhetoric and behavior embedded in both student activism and faculty appointments.

One of the most high-profile examples included the hiring of a visiting professor with ties to a student organization that publicly blamed Israel for the October 7 attacks—a statement so extreme that many of the group’s members later distanced themselves from it. But the professor in question refused to do so, and Columbia continued to defend the decision.

As AIM’s investigations gained traction, the pressure mounted. Mobile billboards circled campus with messages calling out specific individuals and demanding accountability. A dedicated campaign site enabled thousands of students, alumni, and concerned citizens to email Columbia’s Board of Trustees, urging action.

The pressure worked. Columbia is now facing serious consequences, including a federal review of its contracts and grants. The U.S. Department of Education, alongside other federal agencies, has launched a comprehensive investigation into the university’s compliance with civil rights laws amid accusations of a hostile environment for Jewish students.

This is a clear message to every college and university: when you ignore hate, there will be consequences. Accuracy in Media will continue to shine a light on institutions that fail to uphold basic standards of decency and accountability.

That’s good news. All colleges and universities deserve to be penalized if they continue to protect hate and haters antisemitic rhetoric and behavior embedded in both student activism and faculty appointments.

You should know that within 24 hours the Democrats will be filing lawsuits in federal district court(s), resulting in an immediate nationwide injunction against any consequences for Columbia (or any other university). And you should be aware that if the administration appeals all the way to the Supreme Court, Justices Roberts and Barrett have been so intimidated that they will side with the Left to produce a 5-4 verdict against Mr. Trump in ANY appeal he files. Sorry to say, America has been converted from a democracy to a juristocracy, where no matter how the people vote, we have no control over our government.
