Fox News Host Jesse Watters Injured In Hand And Groin

-

's favorite host was on the receiving end of a over Thanksgiving break.

On Monday's episode of “ Primetime,” Watters told viewers what happened when he crossed paths with a woman and her “big dog” while attempting to navigate a narrow hiking trail.

“We're on a tight part of the trail and I notice the dog's all wet, and she's like, “Oh, this my dog, you know, kind of wet, he just swam in the pond,” and I'm thinking, this is kind of crazy,” Watters recounted. “You're letting your dog swim in a pond, 37 degrees in a nature preserve? That's my first clue. Second clue, woman's kind of struggling to hold the dog on the leash.”

The host continued, telling how the dog bounded out of the water and bite him twice, nipping his groin and taking a “chunk” out of his hand.

“See it? Zoom in on that. Zoom in. And I never like to show pain, I never say ouch,” said Watters proudly showing off a bite mark. “I mean, thank God she bit me. She didn't bite someone litigious like Judge Jeanine. She would have been tied up in court for a year.”

Watters went on to claim the dog's owner was a Democrat because she didn't recognize him and drove a Subaru Outback.

“So that was my Thanksgiving. How was yours?,” he added sarcastically.

On Tuesday, Mediaite reported that Monday's show wasn't Watters first bad experience with man's best friend in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the Fox personality revealed to his co-hosts on “The Five” that he had to get rid of his pet dog:

Asked on the show about his pet dog, Watters said, “We ended up getting rid of the dog that we got.”

He questioned, “We had a, what kind of dog was it? A Bernedoodle?”

After co-host Greg Gutfeld protested, “Don't say you got rid of it,” Watters replied, “Got rid is a euphemism.”

“For what?” asked Gutfeld, to which Watters remarked, “I'm not gonna go there. Didn't work out. Didn't work out.”
