Hunter Biden has an aggressive new legal strategy, outright threatening Fox News if the network doesn’t comply with his demands.
According to The Washington Post, Biden’s legal team is pressuring Fox — and Tucker Carlson — to issue retractions and an apology for coverage of the president’s son they say is false or else risk a defamation lawsuit.
The Post reports:
Abbe Lowell, a recently hired lawyer whom Biden enlisted about a month ago, sent lengthy letters to the Justice Department and Delaware’s attorney general requesting investigations into several key players who were involved in disseminating data from a laptop that Biden is said to have dropped off at a repair shop in Wilmington, Del.
Bryan M. Sullivan, another lawyer now representing Biden, sent a separate communication to [Tucker] Carlson and Fox News demanding that they correct falsehoods from his recent show or risk a possible defamation lawsuit.
And in another letter, Lowell wrote to the Internal Revenue Service challenging the nonprofit status of Marco Polo, a group that is run by conservative activist Garrett M. Ziegler. Lowell provided 36 pages as evidence that the group is engaging in political activity in violation of its nonprofit status.
Attorneys for Biden also fired off letters to state and federal law enforcement agencies to investigate a computer shop repair owner for helping to “weaponize” his laptop against his father. Biden’s lawyers want investigators to assess the alleged guilt of Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon and other allies of former President Trump in this effort.

The truth is an absolute defense against claims. From Minc law: “Because a viable claim for defamation only arises with the publication of false assertions of fact, truth is a defense that can be and commonly is asserted in court.
Substantial truth is the recognized standard. Absolute truth is not required. So long as the statements at issue are substantially truthful, minor inaccuracies alone are insufficient to support a claim.
Generally, for a plaintiff to succeed in a defamation lawsuit, the statements at issue must at least be capable of verifiable falsity. Therefore, even if a statement is false, if there is no method of proving the statement to be false, a defamation claim will be difficult to pursue.”
All of the above-mentioned defendants can substantially prove the laptop is legitimate and their assertions are truthful statements. Joe and Hunter have NO CASE. I can add their lawsuit is a joke.

Push comes to shove – Daddy will grant a full pardon for anything found to date and anything that might be exposed at a future date! That had much to do with shoving an elderly politician who certainly was in the beginning of dementia into the arena. He had presented a facade of a reputation that was Good old Joe, not too bright, but committed father to his boys who had lost their mother (not much heard about Jill in those days) and he was honest. That was accepted by everyone and there are virtually no real newspersons/journalists except in one narrow area of media so they had the guy who might beat the loathed Trump and he and family needed that office to hide and protect the fact that the whole family had been enormously enriched by selling Daddy and Brother Joe’s office, prestige an influence to any and all takers in the foreign arena – throughout his political career!???
