White House Addresses Hunter Biden Pardon Speculation

-

Joe Biden isn't bailing his son out…this time.

On Thursday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre offered a one-word answer when reporters asked if a for Hunter Biden was on the table.

“No,” she said, before moving on to other questions.

On Wednesday, Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was appointed by President Trump, rejected the sweetheart plea deal. Biden was set to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay income taxes to avoid jail time on a felony gun charge. Judge Noreika also pushed prosecutors to reveal the president's son is under investigation for failing to register as a foreign agent while he was engaging in deals with Ukraine, China, and other countries.

The White House has pushed against allegations from Republican lawmakers that then-vice president Biden was involved in his son's business deals.

“Hunter Biden is a private citizen and this was a personal matter for him,” Jean-Pierre said Wednesday. “As we have said, the president, the first lady — they love their son and they support him as he continues to rebuild his life.”

The Biden family is facing a mounting investigation by Republicans of alleged influence peddling and bribery in the family's profitable foreign business deals. Earlier this week, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) signaled the caucus is getting closer to bringing impeachment charges against the president.

  1. The evidence is overwhelming with more evidence coming daily. This is not a private matter when despicable, vile Hunter has used this country for his own greedy, selfish needs. He has been paid to give our national security secrets to other countries putting the american public in danger. Hunter should be in jail, he should be put on trial for the espionage act with his sick, lying father.

Actually, I’d like to see that. Only because I’ll bet that would virtually 100% guarantee the demise of the Democratic party in 2024!
