White House Forced to Backpedal After Embarrassing Fact-Check Incident

Fact-checkers wasted no time calling out Joe Biden’s most recent lie.

While this isn’t the first time Biden has attempted to take credit for someone else’s accomplishments this time the President managed to embarrass himself in a whole new way.

On Tuesday, the White House published a tweet that bragged about a bump in social security checks before fact-checkers pounced on them for pushing the faulty narrative.

The White House tweeted, “Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership.”

Twitter added a fact check to the tweet, noting that while Seniors will receive an increase in their social security benefits, it’s “due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate.”

The White House deleted the tweet on Wednesday following backlash.

Former President Richard Nixon signed a law into place in 1972 that granted automatic benefit adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index.

Naturally, it wasn’t long before Twitter erupted over Biden’s poor attempt to spin his disastrous economic record.

The country has experienced record inflation under President Biden, a priority concern among voters in this year’s midterms.

On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve hiked interest rates by three-quarters of a percentage point, its sixth rate hike this year.

In October, inflation clocked in at 8.2 percent, setting off warning signs among economists.

Just think, we have more than two more years of this crap unless Hilary shoves him down the stairs of AF One and tries to assume what she feels is rightfully hers. On second thought, he is not that bad after all.
