Fact-checkers wasted no time calling out Joe Biden’s most recent lie.
While this isn’t the first time Biden has attempted to take credit for someone else’s accomplishments this time the President managed to embarrass himself in a whole new way.
On Tuesday, the White House published a tweet that bragged about a bump in social security checks before fact-checkers pounced on them for pushing the faulty narrative.
The White House tweeted, “Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership.”

Twitter added a fact check to the tweet, noting that while Seniors will receive an increase in their social security benefits, it’s “due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate.”
The White House deleted the tweet on Wednesday following backlash.
Former President Richard Nixon signed a law into place in 1972 that granted automatic benefit adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index.
Naturally, it wasn’t long before Twitter erupted over Biden’s poor attempt to spin his disastrous economic record.
Biden social media geniuses are giving Biden credit for the biggest Social Security COLA in 10 years, but neglect to mention that SS COLA is an automatic formula based on government inflation metric (CPI). 🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/1trGTRI9iV

“Hey so actually the reason social security payments are up is because you made inflation super bad and people can’t afford anything so maybe that tweet isn’t the best idea…” pic.twitter.com/9nVWJ4NLUV

This is a great tweet, and defensibly true. Social Security checks are going up so much because inflation is so high, which is indeed through Biden’s dog shit leadership. https://t.co/qfRpE6llly

Karine Jean-Pierre is asked why the White House deleted a tweet that took credit for the cost of living adjustment to Social Security payments (which was really due to Biden's inflation crisis).

She said they deleted it because "it was not complete." 🤔 pic.twitter.com/T8Jed6A6Nh

Twitter fact checks it saying that this is because of record inflation. pic.twitter.com/nLKI9XzGc1
Lol this tweet crediting Biden’s leadership for an increase in social security payments due to record high inflation has officially been DELETED by the White House. pic.twitter.com/JV6OI6l9pa

The country has experienced record inflation under President Biden, a priority concern among voters in this year’s midterms.
On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve hiked interest rates by three-quarters of a percentage point, its sixth rate hike this year.
JUST IN – U.S. Federal Reserve hikes rates by 0.75% to 4.00% — the highest level since January 2008.

In October, inflation clocked in at 8.2 percent, setting off warning signs among economists.

Actually, the most honest statement ever from this regime.
Just think, we have more than two more years of this crap unless Hilary shoves him down the stairs of AF One and tries to assume what she feels is rightfully hers. On second thought, he is not that bad after all.
