Vice President Kamala Harris has pulled millions of dollars in advertising from all but one television market in North Carolina, redirecting the remaining funds to focus on the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, where she currently holds a roughly 15-point lead. In contrast, former President Donald Trump appears to have a strong lead in most other parts of the state.
This shift in advertising strategy aligns with a notable uptick in Republican early voting turnout in North Carolina over the last two weeks. According to recent data, GOP turnout has surged, raising concerns within the Harris campaign about resource allocation. Elon Musk weighed in on the developments via social media on Tuesday, noting that the Republican lead in early votes had nearly doubled, fueling speculation that Harris may be reallocating resources to neighboring Virginia.

Rumor has it that the Kamala campaign is shifting resources to shore up Virginia, which means they’re worried about losing Virginia.

However, reporting from The Carolina Journal suggests that the campaign is standing firm in North Carolina, making the Research Triangle—anchored by Raleigh and known for its three major universities—its Alamo.
Mediaite’s Kipp Jones explains:
AdImpactm, which tracks candidate ad spending, reported Harris’s camp reserved $2.7 million Monday for an ad blitz in the state in the final week of her campaign. Tuesday morning, $2 million worth of those reservations had been canceled.

According to ad tracking firm AdImpact, the Harris-Walz presidential campaign has changed much of its remaining ad spending in North Carolina in the last week of the election, pulling millions of dollars worth of ads from the major North Carolina media markets. This comes a day before Harris is scheduled to campaign in the capital city of Raleigh, the only North Carolina media market where she is leading the Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump.

North Carolina is almost two weeks into early voting and seeing significant upticks in turnout among registered Republicans and a drop among registered Democrats. More than three million votes have already been cast in the election.
The latest polling data from AtlasIntel, the most accurate pollster from the 2020 election, shows Trump with notable leads in battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona. In North Carolina, Nevada and Wisconsin, however, the margins between Harris and Trump remain within one percentage point, underscoring the tight race and the important of voter turnout.

I cant exactly say im surprised, Kamala is the perfect example of a political candidate, like an old rancher in texas once told me, you cant make a race horse out of a mule! Kamala is the mule, Trump is the race horse! this whole swap out of Kamalal for Biden has been a total Calamady of errors! She ran for president in 2020, and couldnt make it through IOWA before having to drop out! She wouldnt have made it 30 days if the Biden cqampaign hadnt given her all of its leftover funds! The media pumped her up, but unfortunately she actually believed them! She was an unqualidied person for VP, but BIDEN was hell bent on identity politics and once he said his vp was going to be a black woman and Michelle Obama snubbed the job (all but saying the VP office was not worthy of her presence) Biden was left holding the empty bag! The DNC carried biden to the finish line for 50+ years, but he simply became to much of burden and had to be removed for someone who fit the profile they wanted! Unfortunately for Biden & the USA, the candidate order went in as send me a black female vp candidte instead of a qualified black female candidate! so they found Kamala and the DNC ego’s couldnt own their mistake and ran with it, thank god the Republicans have lots of young raw talent to work with! I for 1 look forward to November 5th when my email & Texts will be free of political beggers & pundits that think they know what is better for me than i do!
