Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

MONDAY PDB – The Pentagon has pulled back on its efforts to fight ‘extremism’ in the ranks. Only one of six policy recommendations from December 2021 have been implemented.

GOP attacks forced Pentagon working group on extremism to disband. More than two years after the Countering Extremism Working Group was formed inside the Pentagon, the effort has vanished virtually without a trace.

EXCELLENT – IT WAS MOSTLY A POLITICIZED WITCH HUNT AGAINST CONSERVATIVES.

Team Biden has fabricated this huge bogeyman to whip up racial conflict, recently urging unity “against the poison of white supremacy,” declaring it “the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland.”

IT MOST CERTAINLY IS NOT.

MEANWHILE – Tuberville’s white nationalist comments roil military diversity debate. Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s, R-Ala., criticism this past week of efforts to rid America’s military of white nationalists has roiled the ongoing debate over how much the Pentagon should monitor racial attitudes within its ranks.

HIS COMMENTS WERE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT – When asked if ‘white nationalists’ should be allowed to enlist and serve in the military. “Well, they call them that. I call them Americans,” he replied.

He meant they aren’t really ‘extremists’ – it’s a loaded term – they are just Americans.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY – Here’s a roundup of today’s other top defense stories from national security expert PAUL CRESPO.
