Florida governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident on his way to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee Tuesday morning.
A DeSantis spokesman confirmed the governor and his team were uninjured, noting, “We appreciate the prayers and well wishes of the nation.”
The campaign did not provide any further details on the collision.
