Scott Adams Says Spinal Tumor Has Left Him Paralyzed Amid Cancer Fight

Pro-Trump author and cartoonist Scott Adams says he is now paralyzed from the waist down after doctors found a spinal tumor linked to his ongoing cancer battle.

Adams, the 68-year-old creator of Dilbert, revealed in a YouTube video that he is completely unable to move his muscles as he continues his fight with stage 4 prostate cancer.

“I can’t move any muscles,” Adams said, adding that while he still has feeling, “I just can’t move any muscles.” He disclosed his stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis in May.

What Doctors Found

According to Adams, an MRI confirmed a tumor pressing on his spine, leaving him without use of his legs.

Doctors have scheduled targeted radiation treatments aimed at shrinking the tumor and relieving pressure on the spinal cord. The goal, Adams said, is to restore movement.

So far, there has been no announced improvement.

The New York Post noted that Adams’ health battle became public in May, when he told the world he believed he had only months to live.

“My life expectancy is maybe this summer. I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer,” he said at the time. “The disease is already intolerable. I can tell you that I don’t have good days. So if you are wondering, ‘Hey Scott, do you have any good days’? Nope. Nope. Every day is a nightmare and evening is even worse.”

Adams praised his medical team, calling them attentive and supportive as he navigates the latest setback.

Still Streaming From the Hospital

Despite the diagnosis, Adams has continued his daily livestreams, broadcasting from a hospital bed and engaging with supporters online. The streams have drawn messages of encouragement from conservative commentators and public figures.

Supporters such as Jack Posobiec have highlighted Adams’ decision to keep working and speaking publicly as a sign of resilience under pressure.

Public Reaction

The news prompted an outpouring of responses from fans of Dilbert and followers of Adams’ commentary. Messages have ranged from prayers and well-wishes to broader discussions about cancer treatment, personal resolve, and free expression.

A great mind who could see through the bullshit in a second. I wish him the best.
