A new national poll shows Florida Governor Ron DeSantis beating President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election contest, despite having far less name recognition. It also shows former President Donald Trump badly trailing Biden in a 2024 rematch.
The poll, conducted by WPA Intelligence for the conservative Club for Growth PAC, found DeSantis holds a three-point lead over Biden among likely voters, 45 percent to 42 percent.
It also found Biden leading Trump by eight points among likely voters, 49 percent to 41 percent – a seven-point increase in support for Biden.
“More Americans are learning about Ron DeSantis and the good he’s done as the Governor of Florida,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh. “Of the potential candidates surveyed, DeSantis has high favorability with room to grow.”
What makes DeSantis’ lead more surprising is he is far less known to voters. While 98 percent of likely voters could identify both Biden and Trump, only 64 percent knew who DeSantis was.
Unlike other polls which simply asked voters if they knew a candidate, WPA measured name recognition by showing voters a photo of each person and asking them to type the name of the person in the photo or select an option stating they did not recognize them.
It is believed this is a far more accurate assessment of name identification than an open-ended question.
The online survey was conducted among 1,035 voters.

Those same polls also showed trump beating biden
Well, of course. DeSantis has all of Trump’s strength and none of Trump’s weaknesses. DeSantis is superb on his feet, having an encyclopedic knowledge of the issues, and will be able to destroy whoever the Democrats put up as their nominee. (It won’t be Biden.)
The fact that more people still prefer Biden over Trump, even as Biden stumbles through his classified documents scandal, shows that the choice of Trump as the 2024 nominee would be suicidal for the Republican Party.

The only comparison/measurement that matters when it comes to civil leaders is the Bible’s mandatory biblical qualifications that tragically were eliminated by the constitutional framers when in Article 6 they banned Christians tests for civil leaders.

Could it have something to do with Article 6’s Christian test ban by which mandatory biblical qualifications were likewise eliminated? Once adopted, it was inevitable that America would be ruled by nothing but nincompoops, scoundrels, incompetents, immoral reprobates, and outright criminals. Sound familiar?
Take nincompoops, for example. Exodus 18:21’s qualifications begin with the fear of Yahweh. Kings David and Solomon point out the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Thus, without the fear of Yahweh, you end up with, at best, nincompoops as your alleged leaders.
The best you can ever get from the Constitutional Republic’s unbiblical election system is the lessers of two evils. Sometimes, the worst of the worst. And always, the evil of two lessers.
