Paul Pelosi Attack Footage Released

-

A recording of a 911 call and police body-camera footage capturing a violent attack on the husband of former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been released.

The disclosure follows San Francisco Superior Court Judge Stephen M. Murphy's ruling yesterday over prosecutors' objections. (RELATED: Judge Orders Release of Body Cam Footage of Paul Pelosi's Attack)

Beware the video shows graphic and violent content.

According to a sworn affidavit, David DePape broke into the Pelosis' San Francisco estate shouting, “Where is Nancy?” DePape said he intended to break Pelosi's kneecaps if she didn't comply with his instructions.

However, the House speaker had flown to Washington.

Instead, DePape encountered her husband, Paul Pelosi, 82.

The New York Post reported at the time:

“DePape stated that he was going to hold Nancy hostage and talk to her. If Nancy were to tell DePape the ‘truth,' he would let her go, and if she ‘lied,' he was going to break her kneecaps,” the document outlines based on a police interview with the alleged attacker.

“DePape was certain that Nancy would not have told the ‘truth.'”

“DePape had zip ties, tape, rope, and at least one hammer with him that morning,” the document said, also noting a journal was recovered from DePape at the scene.

DePape had intended to tie up Paul with zip ties, but he was able to move into a bathroom and place a 911 call.

Recognizing the danger posed by the imminent arrival of police officers, DePape walked downstairs with Pelosi, where they answered the front door. A struggle for the hammer DePape brought with him ensued. After wresting control of it away from his victim, DePape struck Pelosi on the head before officers restrained him.

  1. So what we see is Paul Pelosi opening the door in a shirt and shorts, the criminal was inside the house already and when he saw the police, he attacked. i assume he must have thought Mr. Pelosi called the cops – who did by the way???? Who else was in the house? This video isn’t telling us much

  2. I know about as much after watching the video as I did before watching it.
In other words, it would still be nice to know just what the heck the whole story is.
