Former President Donald Trump is firing back in characteristic fashion after the social media giant media announced it would reinstate his Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Trump’s cutting remarks came in post on his own social media site.
Per Fox News:
“FACEBOOK, which has lost Billions of Dollars in value since ‘deplatforming’ your favorite President, me, has just announced that they are reinstating my account,” he wrote shortly after 4 p.m. “Such a thing should never again happen to a sitting President, or anybody else who is not deserving of retribution!”
In the post, the former president also thanked Truth Social, his own platform, for “doing an incredible job” for having him and for their recent success.
Meta, who also owns and operates Instagram, announced on Wednesday via a blog post that it would be ending Trump’s suspension on both social media platforms “in the coming weeks.”
A two-year suspension of Trump’s accounts followed the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Nick Clegg, Meta’s president for global affairs, told reporters. “We’ve always believed Americans should be able to hear from the people who want to lead the country.” But, Clegg added, “he has to play by the rules.”
The decision came following an assessment of Trump’s “risk to public safety,” as Meta noted in its initial annoucement:
“To assess whether the serious risk to public safety that existed in January 2021 has sufficiently receded, we have evaluated the current environment according to our Crisis Policy Protocol, which included looking at the conduct of the US 2022 midterm elections, and expert assessments on the current security environment,” Clegg wrote. “Our determination is that the risk has sufficiently receded, and that we should therefore adhere to the two-year timeline we set out. As such, we will be reinstating Mr. Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts in the coming weeks. However, we are doing so with new guardrails in place to deter repeat offenses.”

How condescending and insulting. We all knew President Trump didn’t incite the Jan.6 event. Pelosi refused the National Guard to protect the Capitol. It was a set up from start to finish. If anyone knows it, the platforms did and they still promoted the political lies. No one should believe in Meta or Instagram as legitimate entities. Like Congress, they’re just outlets/stooges for the Chinese Communist Party and the so-called Democrat Party.

It’s a terrible thing happening in America where Social Media can censor anything they don’t like. It’s unAmerican, and disgusting. I know they have overstepped, because without slandering or besmirching any one in particular, I have been censored for just stating an opinion…..America is in trouble.
Trump should have said “thank you” and let it go at that. Instead, in his “characteristic fashion” as this article calls it, he has to have a comeback that was unnecessary. Trump has lost a good portion of his supporters because of his big mouth and he’ll never win another election if he doesn’t clean up his act. His ego is bigger than he is and he’s only hurting himself.

If Donald Trump didn’t stand up for himself and his positions he would have been dead, buried and forgotten long ago. He is a lion not a sheep and even though we as a people have been programed and conditioned to admire the sheep in our society, it is the lion who makes a difference and with support from like minded citizens may yet save America. Radical socialists are determined to eliminate humanity’s last best chance at individual freedom, a free and independent United States of America!!
Seems you think that when you become the president you lose all rights to defend your self, and all rights to free expression. That is not the nation I grew up in, sounds an awful lot like the communist regimes though out the world.
