PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — A 35-year-old woman was confronted by a 22-year-old male assailant while she was refueling her car at 22nd and Allegheny streets. The man attempted to rob and carjack her, initiating a physical struggle.

Both individuals eventually drew firearms, leading to an exchange of gunfire with 11 shots fired in total. Both suffered gunshot wounds, the woman to her legs and the suspect to his legs and back. Responding officers transported them to a hospital, where they remain in stable condition.

Surveillance footage confirmed the woman as the victim, and she is identified by sources as an off-duty corrections officer.

The man is now in custody. Authorities recovered two handguns from the location.

  1. Good for her. She’s an off duty cop. Should other women be allowed to defend themselves in the same manner?

    • Many women in PA have concealed carry firearm permits and have more in their purses than you might think. Unfortunately it’s the liberal judges and attorney generals who will put this scum back on the street to use an ILLEGAL gun to victimize someone else.

  2. If someone ever threatens you while you’re pumping gas simply pull the nozzle out and douse them in fuel. They’ll be stunned and temporarily blinded and scared to death that they’re about to be incinerated.
